JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A longtime consultant of U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown, D-Jacksonville, said she declined to talk to federal investigators who came to her door this week, and Politico is reporting that the congresswoman was served with a subpoena.

Corrine is slightly more intelligent than her CBC colleagues who are on record about the tipping-over of Guam and the American Flag on Mars. Still with her gerrymandered district in severe doubt, her career was equally in doubt.

If fairness though, let us note that a gerrymandered district is a two-sided affair. The GOP controlled Florida Legislature created it and those down in the Miami area and elsewhere in the state for all these minority candidates to be elected so that the rest of the population would elect more GOP candidates.

I am a firm believer that it is better morality to have geographically concentrated districts. However, I believe that the Democrats should go FIRST!

And what an affront to the concept of equality and insult to the US Constitution.

Here is the kicker about the serpentine Florida 5th District that I posted on.

Florida's state constitution requires that Congressional Districts:

"must be contiguous. Unless otherwise required, districts must be compact, as equal in population as feasible, and where feasible must make use of existing city, county and geographical boundaries."
