By the end of the decade, there are projected to be 7.13 million Palestinians, compared to 6.96 million Jews, in Israel and Palestine.
New estimates show that high Palestinian birth rates, are set to equal the number of Jews in Israel and Palestine by late 2017, Haaretz daily reported.
According to a recent report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, currently, the number of Palestinian residents of Israel, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank is about 6.22 million.
Palestinians worldwide are estimated to number some 12.37 million, with 5.46 million living in Arab countries, 2.9 million in the West Bank, 1.85 in the Gaza Strip, 1.47 million in Israel proper, and approximately 685,000 in non-Arab countries.
With a birth rate of 4.1 among Palestinian women in Palestine (in years 2011-2013) and 3.2 in Israel (in 2014), parity with the Jewish population is projected to be reached by the end of 2017. By 2020, Palestinians are to outnumber Jews by some 170,000, the report indicated.
The report reveals that the Palestinian population in Israel is significantly youthful, with over one third below 15 years of age and less than five percent above 65 (for 2014).
The size of Palestinian households in Gaza and the West Bank was 5.7 and 4.9 people respectively (also in 2014), according to the report, compared to 3.6 people for Israeli Jews on average (Israel Central Bureau of Statistics data).
Operative words in the lying headline are “Palestine and”
The way it reads you are lead to believe there will be Palestinians in Israel That is not the case
The title says “Israel and Palestine.” How is that lying?
This is the reason why Israel should not grand citizenship or voting rights to non Jews and especially not Muslims , im not jewish but i y agree with Meir Kahane(r.i.p) vision of Israel should be.
with any luck, God will sort them out before then..
It is deceptive because of the tense used that implies there will be more Palestinians in Israel than Jews or that was my initial understanding.
So they’ll either need apartheid, or establish a Palestinian state, or perish.
They’re Arabs, who have tribal divisions, not geographical ones, unless geographical divisions help them sucker Westerners to give them free stuff.
They breed like cockroaches.
That is as stupid a statement on Israel as has ever been posted on Free Republic.
There already is a Palestinian State.
It’s called “Jordan. “
You learned everything you know about the middle east from John Kerry, didn’t you?
Importantly, Orthodox Jews in Israel now have a very high birthrate, and are outstripping just about everyone else in the region.
Also importantly, is *how* they are doing this.
1) Leading frugal lives, despite individual wealth. Thus they are not overwhelmed with materialism, entertainments and distractions.
2) Morality. They strongly believe in monogamous marriage, they disdain pornography and other “pleasures of the flesh” known for their unhealthiness, and they encourage their children to learn and practice their faith.
3) Their raising of children use long standing traditions and expectations of parents that are far less stressful than those in other places. Thus there is no great concern that having more children will become too hard. The emphasis is on the value of larger families, not smaller ones.
4) They disdain government and prefer to keep to their own business. “Helpful” government employees are discouraged from intruding into their communities, no matter what ‘devil’s bargains’ they promise.
There are already established Palestinian states - Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan. Why do they need another?
When the modern state of Israel was created in 1948, it was 92% Arab and 7% Jewish.
I’d have no problem with Israel forcing these Palestinians to move to Jordan but you know that’ll never happen. So, or are they going to continue to let them vote in their elections?
If you think USA has problem in the future letting illegal invaders determine our future, what’ll be the outcome when the majority of voters in Israel are those who wish to destroy the Jews?
The 1949 Armistice borders of the State of Israel contained over 80% Jews.
I think by the time of the UN partition plan in November 1947, the area of the British mandate of Palestine had about 2/3rds Arab and 1/3rd Jewish populations. The areas assigned to the projected Arab state were almost entirely Arab; the areas assigned to the projected Jewish state had about half and half (possibly a slight Arab majority). Of course that changed greatly during the fighting in 1948 and 1949.
People like Russian government writers at Sputnik, as well as secular Jews and non-Jews in Israel, aren’t in fear of Arab demographics. They are afraid of *Jewish* demographics. Religious Jews will be in a majority in a generation or so, as the Jewish population has historically been.

Problematical on a number of levels.
The source, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics. Other than liberal academics pretty much no one believes statistics from the Palestinian authority. Like the US, most people figure under or about 2 million Muslims in the US, Cair says 8 million.
The article assumes Israel will annex the entirety of the West Bank, not Israeli policy, but if they do I'd agree citizenship should be granted. It also assumes Israel will annex Gaza and it's 1.85 million palestinians. About a third of their estimate of 6.22 million palestinians in their estimation. I don't know of anyone who wants Israel to annex Gaza.
And, of course, other birthrate estimate disagree with the palestinian estimates. Statistics Show Jewish Birthrate Up, Muslim Birthrate Down in Israel Which are likely extrapolated on exaggerated current population estimates.
“I don’t know of anyone who wants Israel to annex Gaza. “
Wait ‘til they kill each other off fighting over who gets to kill and the Jooos! in the world. Then move in and clean up the mess.
