Ok, Folks. I'm ready for my Trump "fix" tonight @ Steven's High School.
Stevens High School is the only public high school in Claremont, New Hampshire, United States. It is in the center of the city on the corner of Broad and Summer streets. It was founded in 1868, the result of a $20,000 donation by Paran Stevens to Claremont with the proviso that the city appropriate a like sum. In the early 1990s, the school gained status as the host to one of the earlier Apple Macintosh user groups, primarily attended by high school faculty. Stevens High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges as well as the State of New Hampshire Department of Education.
Stevens was a Claremont native who was the manager of the Tremont House hotel in Opera House Square, the precursor to the Moody Hotel. He eventually became the most well-known hotelier in America, managing the New England, Revere House, and the Tremont House in Boston, as well as the Fifth Avenue Hotel in New York City, among others. He was the grandfather of British humanitarian Louise Paget.
Stevens High School built its first addition in 1909, due to its increased student body of 156. The front of the building was expanded, adding a laboratory, classroom, a manual training room in the basement, and a headmaster's office. Enrollment quickly grew to 217 by 1914, and the building was expanded again. Enrollment was at 434 in 1929, and a third subsequent expansion added an annex of fifteen classrooms, a gymnasium, and a remodel of the auditorium and older portions of the building.
The building did not need another major renovation until 1962, with the baby boomers entering high school. The student body was nearly 600 at the time, prompting a new cafeteria, improved gymnasium facilities, and twelve new classrooms. The final annex was extended along the back of the building. SHS was an early concert location for the band Aerosmith in 1971.
Legitimate point Do you remember how the Obama caucus goers out maneuvered Clintons in 2008. It may have more to do with being prepared for dirty tricks than actual how to represent your candidate at the caucus
Somewhere I saved those threads on FR. Maybe under “voter fraud “. His people were very well organized and slick.
There are several pages, including Wiki, that give the breakdown. Most of the states are “proportional,” but with additional votes awarded by county, then delegates for the person who wins the most counties, so it’s sort of a stacked proportional. Some are winner take all, but most of the Super Tuesday primaries are of the mixed proportional variety.
How does it work? You have people showing up at their precinct? They then get up and talk about the candidate, then eventually they take hand vote? How the heck does that work? I mean on the one hand it’s really cool, but on the other hand it seems kinda funny. Plus the delagates are not binding?
A whole fleet of buses from ChiCongo as I recall.
The rules are so byzantine that I hope Trump has a very good "delegate-guru" calculating what he needs, where.
The obvious thing is that while you can "lose" a state, you can't get creamed and come in 3d or 4th, because you get no delegates at all. In NH or MA or NY, for ex., Cruz can't finish 4th.
Then there are the winner take all states like FL and AZ, which add your delegates in a hurry.
We thanks those bus loads for giving Indiana voter ID. It was after one precinct in Indy got 110% of registered voters turn out because of them that fraud could no longer be denied ;-)
Mind if I stop by for dinner? ;>)
Small school, must not have a very large auditorium.
Are you fond of Brussels sprouts ?
Bet they will use gym. Or many areas with monitors overhead
You betcha! Cruciferous veggies are healthy!
These are cooked in BACON!
Never mind lol.
What part of Indiana are you in? I used to spend some time in Brown County. Just beautiful there...
County south of it. We have everything they have except the hoards of people!
Cougar has been spotted in our area and last fall a black bear. Eagles nest in our holler!
Bout as close to heaven as I want to be for awhile!

Hopefully tonight’s live stream will NOT buffer as much as last nights ........also does any one know what the song he plays after every rally is?
Well I’m closer to heaven than you are, here in Montana. :)
I did some bicycle touring out there in the early 80’s - did the Hilly Hundred a couple times, out of Elletsville. There were about 2000 riders then, now I hear it’s up to about 5000...
right? My mother always told me the worse the medicine tastes the better it is for you, I never believed her either.
Sounds wonderful!!
Wish I could invite myself right over :)
