Ok, Folks. I'm ready for my Trump "fix" tonight @ Steven's High School.
Stevens High School is the only public high school in Claremont, New Hampshire, United States. It is in the center of the city on the corner of Broad and Summer streets. It was founded in 1868, the result of a $20,000 donation by Paran Stevens to Claremont with the proviso that the city appropriate a like sum. In the early 1990s, the school gained status as the host to one of the earlier Apple Macintosh user groups, primarily attended by high school faculty. Stevens High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges as well as the State of New Hampshire Department of Education.
Stevens was a Claremont native who was the manager of the Tremont House hotel in Opera House Square, the precursor to the Moody Hotel. He eventually became the most well-known hotelier in America, managing the New England, Revere House, and the Tremont House in Boston, as well as the Fifth Avenue Hotel in New York City, among others. He was the grandfather of British humanitarian Louise Paget.
Stevens High School built its first addition in 1909, due to its increased student body of 156. The front of the building was expanded, adding a laboratory, classroom, a manual training room in the basement, and a headmaster's office. Enrollment quickly grew to 217 by 1914, and the building was expanded again. Enrollment was at 434 in 1929, and a third subsequent expansion added an annex of fifteen classrooms, a gymnasium, and a remodel of the auditorium and older portions of the building.
The building did not need another major renovation until 1962, with the baby boomers entering high school. The student body was nearly 600 at the time, prompting a new cafeteria, improved gymnasium facilities, and twelve new classrooms. The final annex was extended along the back of the building. SHS was an early concert location for the band Aerosmith in 1971.
Aerosmith?
Don’t forget the socialist efforts to get the rest of the granite state to pay for their education so they didn’t have to.
Some of us are getting ready Already!! Supper in the “crack-pot”. Drinks being chilled.
He’s working NH and the ground crew is organizing IOWA. He understands it is his job to stir the pot —Others job to finish it off !
IIRC those workshops for first time cacaus attendees start
this week. Small groups with competent leadership instructing— nothing left to chance
I finally made the side bar!!!!!!!
Does anyone have any idea what the ground game in Iowa and NH is like? Any freepers our there who can tell us?
Trump has the best people, but he’s also getting people whom they say have never caucused before. What the heck does that mean? Cruz they say has the legions of former caucus goers.
We must win.
Woo HOO for you. ( hit the abuse button and request if it doesn’t happen next time)
I’m breaking out a bottle of a Federalist Cabernet Sauvignon, which I’ll start sipping around 6 PM Eastern. Will then bake some Mahi Mahi over a nice bed of risotto with a little Greek Salad on the side. This is my idea tonight of a hot date.
LOLOL!!! I have my roast ready to go in the oven, carrots ready, celery ready, potatoes and onions ready....made a cake just a while ago...having people over to watch, can’t wait to yell, clap and scream to high heaven for Trump!!!
Off to an early start. I like it.
Sounds like a great dinner party. I feel bad that I’m just doing Publix fried chicken and Winking Owl shiraz. :-)
Trumps chairman in Iowa is the same as the man who organized and won for Santorum last go around. One of he first IOWA rally’s DT reminded people to fill out the cards with contact information and boxes to check for volunteering. Later there was a blurb in an article about the training sessions that were being planned. Captains-teams all organized under competent experienced leadership. That executive experience will come in handy
Ivanka recent interview stated her dad was teaching her how to organize so she didn’t feel the need to micromanage Iowa popped into head as she spoke
Pork loin; sweet potatoe and Apple slices with spices in crock pot. Green veggies ready to steam. Sparkling water on this ones diet! (Thanks to DT example am drinking more water and tea. )
Cheese cake for dessert or afternoon snack. ;-)
I just have a hard time thinking that these thousands of people can take the time to get advance tickets at Event Brite, that they can drive to a rally, that they will stand in line (as we did in Columbus, OH, having driven an hour) . . . but somehow can’t figure out how to vote in a caucus.
This is encouraging, but Cruz sounds like he has some good people too. Would be really cool if they both do well, with Trump winning of course. I’d love to see them take in over 60% between them.
BINGO!
The delegates are divide proportionately by those winning over 20% iirc Larry would no for sure.
The primary goal in my book is to win so none of the delegates go to ANY establishment candidates.
LOLOL...I finally took down my tree yesterday...I had a lady over to look at some quilt designs I have made, and while we were talking, she was looking, and I was unplucking the tree, we had a lovely conversation about Trump, she's all in with him, but was worried I wasn't....I only have a banner and a hat in the living room, LOLOL...
Expect Trump to hit Cruz tonight. It will be a counterpunch.
