Using crowd size as an indicator of who is going to win the primary at this point is pretty much pointless. Sure, Trump gets huge crowds because he's a celeb stumping in small towns and gets 24/7 media attention for now. But he also doesn't do internal polling, has yet to seriously spend any money on his campaign, has not hit the quotas needed for precinct captains in Iowa and his get the vote out effort is anemic at best. I remember getting excited about the Romney crowds in 2012 thinking these were signs Obama was going to get his commie ass kicked, but then election night came and we all know how that went down.
Romney WON the primary!
Uhhhhh....Trump has done just the opposite of those things that cost Romney the election.
You got excited about the Romney??
“Using crowd size as an indicator of who is going to win the primary at this point is pretty much pointless”
Too bad every one of those photos were after the nomination. Unless “Romney/Ryan” signs were passed out that previous December.
I was not enthusiastic about Romney but I did vote for him. I watched the returns coming in on election night. I remember how all the states were coming in except Ohio and then finally that gave the election to Obama. I also remember the look on Obama’s face when he won. I will never believe that there wasn’t massive vote fraud that carried him over and that Ohio was one of the places.
This coming election has got to be so overwhelming that even voter fraud can’t stop it.
That one shot is of Romney at the high-school stadium in Defiance, Ohio. I used to live in the area.
Romney coming was no doubt the most exciting thing to happen in Defiance since the Mail Pouch barn got repainted.
I personally saw Dan Quayle turn Napoleon on it’s ear.
I was discussing this with some people and this comment caught my attention “I may buy tickets to go to the circus, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to vote for the clown.”
I tend to think that it’ also a bit of “You’ve heard about the night that Trump went insane and started ranting about aliens and the Illuminati, well I was there” kind of thing.
