I assume that the [/sarcasm] tag is implied???
Wrong, Ted was in private practice for a while.
Hey skippy, you are making a fool of yourself.
I wonder if I am the only mother of three that some doofus has called “bubba”. Just so he can look like a toughie! LOL
not from the south are ya?
I find it sad that so many Trump supporters are hell-bent on confirming what liberals have been saying about conservatives for years - that conservatives are really anti-immigrant (read: racist and xenophobic), and not anti-ILLEGAL immigration...
How long have we been proposing to build a wall? Before Bush the younger, no?
There are some ads that will stay with you (like the Chinese guy gloating about owning America) and have the potential to be game changers.
This may be one of those.
So what I posted was stupid?
Because that middle section was lifted from a Cruz supporter regarding a Trump ad that they were blasting because it used footage of people scaling a fence in Morocco and into Spain.
All I did was change out some nouns, and waited for Cruz people to cry foul. Too easy!
If you were serious, yes it was stupid. I was trying to assume the best, that you were making a joke. If someone made the same argument about a Trump ad, then that was stupid. They are ads, not documentaries. The images are to illustrate a point. Unless the point being made is blatantly false, a little creative license is allowed.
My original post was not to be serious.
Thanks for the link, conservative joy.
The Cruz-Sessions legislation concerns H-1B and OPT work visas, which are temporary, and do not allow the visa holder to remain in the USA after the visa expires.
It has nothing to do with LEGAL permanent residents, who can stay in the USA as long as they like, are eligible for all welfare benefits, and are free to apply for any USA job they want, with some security and citizenship exclusions.
In recent years, the USA has allowed roughly 1.5 million new LEGAL permanent residents to enter each year.
1.5 million X 8 years = 12 million.
Massive LEGAL immigration has crushed the wage scale and job opportunities for low skill American citizens.
And currently, Cruz wants 12 million more of them!
No, he doesn’t. You haven’t read his immigration plan.
I have never supported Trump, and I will not vote for him.
Re: “not anti-ILLEGAL immigration...”
Since 2005, I might be the most prolific immigration poster at Free Republic. I have always opposed illegal immigration.
Bottom Line...
In recent years, the USA has given LEGAL permanent residency to about 1.5 million immigrants each year.
New immigrant citizens vote 80% for the Democrat Party.
If you don't understand what that math means for USA jobs, and for USA elections, then I have no idea what to say to you.
Cruz has never called for a reduction in LEGAL immigration, currently running at 1.5 million new immigrants per year.
Immigration is NOT the same thing as Work Visas.
I don’t how to make it any clearer than that.
Cruz has said that legal immigration at current levels is unsustainable. We don’t have the infrastructure nor the social structure to support them.
Thank you...if he is nominated, just stay home like you did for Romney...s/ President Hillary.
They are wrong!!
.
>> “And currently, Cruz wants 12 million more of them!” <<
.
Currently, no he does not.
Currently you are a disgusting lying troll.
.
What you have made clear is that you are a liar.
You are completely without honor.
it is a pretty good ad and it makes a good point.

Now if only Ted would publicly declare he will deport all illegal aliens including anchor babies.
