So explain to us lesser mortals why the ‘RATS, RINOs, GOPe, the libtard-lamestream media, Karl Rove, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Bobby Jindal, Linda Graham, and all of the other also-rans HATE TRUMP’S GUTS?!?

If Trump were indeed some sort of closet liberal as you suggest, the above mentioned parties would be falling all over themselves to promote him, endorse him, and proclaim his inevitability as the GOP nominee.

You haven’t thought this through. Try again.

Trump wants to secure the borders, enforce the law, end anchor babies, end sanctuary cities, build a wall, deport them all, secure the borders, secure the nation, including sending the refugees back!

Yet as recently as he was talking about "giv[ing] them a path." He said, "you haave to" and that he wanted to "make it possible for tehm to succeed" here.

Want to talk about cutting taxes, cutting spending, cutting regulations, cutting government, cutting cronyism, cutting corruption, growing the economy, putting our people back to work, making America great again?

Trump has been completely inconsistent on these issues. Right now, he talks a good game. But he has advocated a heavy surtax on people like himself. He is quite willing to support subsidies and eminent domain abuse to support developers like himself. He's at best an inconsistent supporter of limited government.

Want to defend God, family, guns, country? Want to build the greatest military ever so no one dares mess with us?

Trump's been pretty good her -- although a touch impolite in the ways he says some things. And he may be a touch interventionist for come conservatives.

But he's not the only one. Cruz and others are also on our side of this issue.

I'm looking for the most consistent conservative. So far, I'm not persuaded that Donald Trump is that man. Ronald Reagan he is NOT.

TBP, we get that YOU do not support Trump. All of your Trump Chump trolling will not change the minds of those who support Trump, including the boss.

Just a minor correction there Jane, in the interest of accuracy.

Because he’s not beholden to them — the same reason they hate Cruz. Neither of them is under Rove’s thumb.

The enemy of my enemy may not always be my friend.

I posted factual information about Trump’s views and positions. You apparently don’t want to acknowledge them.

Refute the information if you can.

He's the most consistent of anyone next to Reagan. - I'm seeing interviews 25 years ago, posted here where he's consistent.

He called Justice Scalia a "racist"

I watched that interview and he never called Scalia a "racist."

and Pat Buchanan a "Hitler lover"

Over a decade and half ago.

and says his radical, left-wing, pro-abort sister would make a great Supreme Court justice. Then he says he wants more justices like Justice Thomas.

You conveniently leave out that although he said that his centrist sister would make a great Supreme Court justice, he also added, "we'd have to rule that out," showing that he wasn't seriously considering it at all.

He has done a 180 on abortion.

Even when he was pro-choice, he made it clear he found abortion terrible. He just didn't think he had the right to make that decision for women. Someone like that is always easier to reach than someone who thinks there is nothing at all wrong or disturbing with abortion as birth control or for any other reason.

He was still praising "universal healthcare" (i.e, socialized medicine) in the first GOP debate, saying it works well in Scotland and in Canada. Now he says he's for market reforms such as selling insurance across state lines.

He said both of these at the very same first debate.

In order to start making some progress on abortion, we need to change the hearts and minds of others. I guess if you believe that those who have changed should be mocked, well, you just have a different view of moving the fall forward. The so called lifetime prolife candidates have done exactly zero to stop anything. They couldn’t even de-fund PP. I’m beginning to wonder if it is nothing more to them than a campaign issue to keep voters coming back. Maybe getting someone in there with an actual record of success on something would be a nice change of pace.

Trump is a run-of-the-mill liar, a political whore, and a charlatan.

I'm thankful when people who were pro-choice become pro-life and I'm not mocking them. I will not however pick one to be my leader. I will not pick someone who used to be for Hillary and Obama to be my leader even though I'm thankful they have seen the light.

Here is what he said about Scalia: “I thought his remarks were very tough. They were very, very tough to a certain community. “I thought it was very tough to the African-American community.” He didn’t use the word racist, as Dingy Harry (the Dim Bulb From Searchlight) did, but it’s implied.

His sister is no “centrist.” Among other things, she’s a flaming pro-abort. He would like to appoint her to the Supreme Court, saying she’d be “terrific” (his favorite word), and he ruled it out after he got called on it — not until then — but not 100 percent. “We’d have to rule that out for now.” (Another flip flop.)

Most pro-aborts, even radicals like Cuomo, say they find abortion distasteful and are “personally opposed”. That he was personally opposed is of no consequence.

Now, he may be sincere — many, including “Jane Roe” herself and Dr. Bernard Nathanson, have switched sides. Many others, such as Mittens, have had campaign conversions. I want to believe that Trump is now committed to the pro-life cause, but I can’t be sure. Other candidates have a long record of supporting life.

Praising universal healthcare like in Canada is not a conservative position at all. All he says about 0bamacare is that he’d replace it with “something terrific.” (There’s that word again.) Does he mean market-based solutions or does he mean Canadian-style healthcare — or something else entirely? Who knows?

There is no doubt that Trump is conservative on some issues, but is not on others. His inconsistencies are what bother me about him. I like him. I think he’s been good for communities where he’s developed projects — especially New York. But I have no way of determining what kind of president he’d be. And I’d rather have someone whose record is more consistently conservative and constitutionalist.

The strategy of the right with life long pro lifers has been a dismal failure. Exactly what do you think they will do different this time, from the last 40 years?
