He offered “poison Pill amendments to the Gang of 8 Bill offering legalization without citizenship because he knew that Dems would not accept anything less than full amnesty, and it would kill the bill. Jeff Sessions explained their strategy, too, and it worked. They totally bluffed out the Dems.
Cruz doesn’t support TPP and he has never supported legalization. His poison pill amendment to the Gang of 8 bill was a parliamentary tactic that has been explained over and over by Sessions, Cruz, Limbaugh. and Levin. Cruz exposed the left’s hypocrisy and desire for amnesty.
