Indeed....one way or the other....and he has admittedly said his business “friends” are rough characters....I think he used the term... “bad people” if I recall right. Trump has such a deceptive way of folding over his remarks that if you aren’t paying attention you won’t pick these things up......his followers sure don’t!......IMO he’s a thug in a suite that happens to have built his wealth in shady deals and knows very well how to manipulate people. ...and if he doesn’t like them..well......sometimes he will take matters into his own hands....

No need. It’s already friendly territory for both Cruz and trump
Looks like Cruz is looking for his pen, or perhaps he is keeping his donor list close to his vest.
Thanks for posting that video which gave me a chuckle....we need someone who is a fighter. Andrew Breitbart would approve of Donald Trump. He always thought that we dismissed popular culture which cost us many elections. So much better than the effete candidates running....
Cruz doesn’t support TPP and he has never supported legalization. His poison pill amendment to the Gang of 8 bill was a parliamentary tactic that has been explained over and over by Sessions, Cruz, Limbaugh. and Levin. Cruz exposed the left’s hypocrisy and desire for amnesty.
And where exactly will Trump get the funds from in the general if he wins the nomination?
As much as you would like to believe he is above donors, he will take donations just like any politician in the end...
You are fooling yourself if you believe otherwise...
Cruz’s donors that want him to back amnesty are groups - Club for Growth and Goldman Sachs.
Which constitutes what percentage of Cruz’ donations?
Less than 3%
___________________________
You need to dig deeper on the numbers. Here are some of the other donors and this is far more than 3% of his campaign and these numbers are only good through September 2015.
Keep the Promise I Super PAC 11,000,000 from Renaissance Technologies LLC
Keep the Promise II Super PAC 10,000,000 Caprock Partners
Keep the Promise III Super PAC Wilks Brothers $15,000,000
Due to the fact that it is Super Pac money it has different FEC treatment than a donation to the Candidates Super Pac.
$38,655,257 From Outside Groups
$26,567,298 From Campaign Committee
Only $11,064,064 of Cruz’ total has come from small contributors.
This is a tough one! Must be a trick question.
hopefully his back door was closed for that one
$2 million per week — for Trump especially — is a TINY buy, and makes me wonder about his liquid asset levels

According to his OGE 278e filing Trump has 10 pages of cash and near cash assets. We stopped adding after the first few lines of page 35 and was already at $35 million.
The media has stopped questioning his wealth once the report was released.
Isn’t Trump also 23 or more million ahead of his budget?!!
And where exactly will Trump get the funds from in the general if he wins the nomination?

That is a great question.
The Republican Party is currently taking donations for the general election.
Do you think the Republican Party will fund their own nominee? Could they withold the money from the nominee to support the down ticket races? I would imagine that if Trump gets the nomination, there are many Republican donors, like myself, who do not want our funds denied to the Republican nominee.
What I am saying is that Donald Trump has so much liquidity, he can fund his campaign well beyond his stated 30M. Not just that, these campaigns saying “We raised 20 Million”.
I do non-profit fundraising, pro-bono. The campaigns aren’t telling the flip side of the story which is the cost to raise a dollar. If it is direct mail the cost can be $1.25 to raise a $1.00. Trump has the money in the bank. Actual spending dollars. Good for Trump.
The Cruz campaign has spent nearly $2,400,000.00 through September, on just list rentals.
SuperPACs that have no communication with Cruz.
OTOH, Trump donated to Democrats for 20 years. Why? Apparently it was the only way he could do business.
But we can trust this billionaire who has taken both sides of every issue. Why? Because this time we can trust him.
Oh please it was the only way he could do business. He threw them chump change big deal from the 90’s get over it!
You are thinking about the old rules. There are new rules now:
“The decisions-which came in response to a request from two Democratic super PACs, including one with close ties to Senate Minority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) - further erode the boundary between campaigns and their independent allies at a time when they are already engaged in unprecedented collaboration.
Federal candidates are still not permitted to explicitly ask a donor to give more than $5,000 to a super PAC. But the latest decision means that an elected official or candidate can meet privately with just one wealthy donor and one super PAC operative to discuss fundraising for the group, said Ellen Weintraub, one of two Democrats on the six-member panel who opposed loosening the rules.”
Well actually I would hope there isn’t that kind of fighting....and I would hope there’s going to be more to it than just fighting.
If it was chump change, why did he donate to Democrats?
(And he was donating to Democrats right up to 2010).
Who cares. He is where he is now, and will do what he says he will do. We will hold him to it! He is working for us and with us. We all have a share in this company, if you will! This great nation will not go down in flames!
How?
