Makes me wonder if they’re still going to have the fireworks show. It’s due to start in about a hour and 40 minutes or so.
The mydubainewyear.com website hasn’t mentioned anything yet.
A warning shot across the bow . . . look for Iranian and Russian backed terrorism in the Gulf states as payback for the Saudi-led and Gulf state followed oil pricing approach.
And this time a lot of Americans will be cheering, not worried.
We were all better off when oil was in the 70’s. Our midwest states would be healthier and there would be less mischief around the world. The cat is out of the bag now and unintended consequences will start to pile up.
More than just a bonfire.

Now reports say it is NEAR the Burj Khalifa in an apartment building.hotel. 63 stories tall and attached to the Burj Khalifa mall.
That’s why we need energy independence. It should be our top priority.
Doesn’t look like they have sprinkler systems. That baby is rolling.
Wow
On scene reports claim there is A LOT of debris falling. fire seems to be spreading. wouldn’t be surprised if it went down.
A lot of Americans like to go there. I don’t know why.
It IS horrible!
Will the left in the West/US show pics of Westerners dancing in the street?
The never let a crisis go to waste.
There still are thousands of people down there for the New Year’s firework show at the Burj Khalifa. If that building went down.....
I still have the Dubai New Year Eve sit in another window. No word yet.

Burning Dubai building latest: Eyewitness John Dalziel has been told the fire started on one of the balconies
I have stood right next to that hotel. I think its the one across the small reflecting pool from the Khalifa. The is a cluster of buildings there and a shopping mall.
If you go to www.mydubainewyear.com, there is a picture of the Burj Khalifa. The building on the right side of the screen is the hotel in question.
I have one on my profile of the Khalifa standing next to that hotel so you can see how close it is.
Weather it goes down or not depends on how hot the fire is. Remember WTC had 1,000s of gallons of jet fuel burning so that was a hot fire.
I took the picture of the Khalifa standing on that bridge in front of the hotel.
