R.I.P. Dr. Schramm. Your presence at Ashland is already missed.
Given its track record even before WFB, Jr.’s death, am surprised NR would know who is a “conservative luminary,” even if he were to hit Rich Lowry in the @$$ with a 2x4.
Self-confessed Conservatives don’t even know what they stand for anymore.
So, what difference does it make.
A real conservative donates to the Clintons (over $100K just to their crime foundation)), votes for them, says fond things about them, and breaks with them only when he wants to be president. Or at least that’s what some conservatives say about Trump.
Exactly. Isn’t that how it’s done?
Not to mention i migration:
Yes, we did.
But no mention of M. Stanton Evans?
You’re right - Wikipedia lists his date of passing as March 3, 2015. I would have believed someone who said it was in 2014 . . .I wrote a note to Evans some years back, and he responded amiably. RIP
How many would not have been -too many? Just curious. One less, three less?
I knew Stan somewhat. I’m a National Journalism Center alumnus. Stan was one of the incisive wits of our movement, and a great guy.
