HOUSTON, Texas â The Cruz for President campaign announced a new TV ad, âVictoriesâ, running statewide in Iowa through January 3rd. The ad highlights Cruzâs victories defending the Mojave Memorial Cross, the Texas Capitol Ten Commandments monument, the Second Amendment, and the words âunder Godâ in the Pledge of Allegiance. The ad may be viewed here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOit03vT1n8
Yep...
Cruz is playing this extremely well so far.
The Bible tells us that there will be mockers and scoffers at anything that’s good and mock those who say the Lord’s return is nigh.
Trump is a liberal Trojan horse appearing as a conservative to fool those who are gulible to believe him.
And yes, WE DO CARE.
At least Ted CRUZ is consistent in believing in following the Constitution as yes WE DO CARE.
That’s why it’s called drinking the Trump Koolaid.
Noticed they never say to us that we drink the Cruz or Constitution Koolaid ? It’s because they can’t argue with that, they have a weak argument.
Unless they are willing to toss out the Constitution.
12 # Issues like gay marriage and abortion are not a priority.
In fact, they ARE conservative ideas. Fast track has been around since the 70s and H1B's have been around since the 60's Reaqan used fast track, and both were reauthorized in the 94 (Conservative) Congress.
TPP - You probably mean TSA, or Fast Track, which is wholly benign, being nothing more that a structure within which trade agreements are fashioned... All it does is allow the administration and the Congress to interface at the committee level to fashion an agreement that will probably make it through a vote - You've got to be an idiot if you think that takes anything away from 'the American worker'. All it does is expedite the process of forming trade agreements.
TPP is the Trans-Pacific Pact, a trade agreement, which hasn't even been brought to vote yet.
Likewise H1B's - You fail to mention that Cruz supported H1Bs with the contingency that they could only facilitate the hiring of foreign workers if they were paid the going American wage - thus attempting to FIX the only legitimate bitch you have, that H1Bs are being abused. That is not Cruz being *for* the status quo H1B, and thus your statement is wholly disingenuous.
In the mean time, perhaps one should look into Trump's use of H1B foreign workers in his own holdings, and understand the hypocrisy of your position.
I already knew that... Because I already looked : )
All of the Trump supports probably need to make sure they understand the weasel they are lining up behind...
Either they already do know, or they are so enthralled that they won't stop to listen. Been through this many times on FR, always preaching Conservatism... Once the bit is in their teeth, they won't hear anything.
I hope for their sake that they don't get what they wish for - because I am certain that they would rue the day in the end.
It is quite amazing the amount of flat out refusal to look at facts is occurring in relation to Trump.
I do not get it. If the folks who support him are honestly conservative, why on earth are they turning a blinds eye to a candidate who is anything but...?
As I’ve said before, 2008 or 2012, he would have been better than McCain or Romney. This year, we have a VERY conservative, solid candidate who is so untouchable the only negative being levied against him is an inaccurate portrayal of his immigration stance.
Yet this large, very vocal contingent of Trump supports line up like lemmings as he sprints towards the proverbial cliff.
Oddly enough, it was the Kelo decision that prompted me to do something I never did before. I E-mail my 2 senators and Congressman, expressing my outrage.
The responses I received were mixed.
John Cornyn just started sending me his newsletter, and didn’t mention the decision.
Pete Olson started calling my house, leaving messages, inviting me to live, over-the-phone townhall meetings.
Kay Bailey Hutchison (who Cruz replaced), actually e-mailed me back and said she agreed with me the Kelo was terrible.
Cornyn and Olson recently voted for the Omnibus bill, Cruz voted against it.
Everything on your post is 100% accurate, and it is why I support Cruz.
I always knew Ted was Brotherhood..Which is what we need. A good ol’ Brotherhood of Steel vs. Muslim Brotherhood vs. the brothas of the feralhood go-round... and then the world would be a better place ;)
Cruz is God's the latest manifestation of what it will take to put the demons back in the bottle. The question is...are we ALL paying attention?
It's the rah-rah crowd... They're loud and obnoxious, and all about winning. They think that fame is what drives these things.
It seldom does.
This year, we have a VERY conservative, solid candidate who is so untouchable the only negative being levied against him is an inaccurate portrayal of his immigration stance.
Yep, haven't seen better since 2007 when both Tancredo and Hunter were running in the primary. They didn't get much acclaim here either. Just a small group of rock-solid Conservatives around them both.
I don't get it either. You would think that FR would be the primary place where Conservatism was hailed from the rooftops - That Conservatives would get the full faith and credit of the biggest Conservative place on the web... And when we DO get together, Katy bar the door! But that hardly happens anymore - All you get is this huge monkey-knot.
GO TRUMP GO!

I have been having to post moderated-reviewed responses for the past week and can't even private message Gefn pictures on my kitties because the Trumpty Dumpty Brownshirts have taken over our beloved Free Republic.
What's wrong with that? American politicians were more honest when they feared a people willing to literally tar and feather them. I am sick and tired of phony civility while the country rots into a Third World sewer.
You noticed that too.
There has to be more news happening than Trump polls or Trump tweets or op eds saying face it Trump is teh one
I’ve had several mouth-breathing trolls try to call Ted Cruz a “Washington insider.” We’re not as uninformed as they wish we were.
