They fear Trump because they know that he can win. Cruz is barely on their radar.

I am fast approaching dumping Cruz. At one time, he was my choice, but some of his supporters are so vicious that I’ve had it.

Well done, Cruz supporters. You’ve managed to succeed better than any democrat at alienating his base.

I understand about the supporters running you off, only from an entirely different side. I think we have no more conservative coalition big enough to win anything. It is all just a power and money grab. Sad.

Your choice of president should not be based on Freepers’ posts. They are not running for president - they tend to unload their feelings/anger/disgust/whatever on line because they think they can say anything on line and will not suffer for it as no one will know who they are.

I liken their posts to a situation I faced every time I went to a state or national convention of Professional Counselors. Those counselors in my area I knew who went to these conventions, became people I did not know. They stayed drunk and caroused around with people of the opposite sex and shared rooms back and forth. They thought they were safe away from home, no one would know, and they did their thing. I believe posters who post nasty/cutting remarks to others are like these counselors - no one will know they did it, so they do it.

Let your common sense determine the best candidate based on your conservative criteria.
