I agree with your comments in a number of ways. Some not as much as others. Let me explain.
It isn’t a big thing for me that people take donations. It has been a big part of the game, and it depends on the candidate whether that will be a problem or not. I don’t fault Cruz that much here, but I won’t say it isn’t a concern either.
As for your comment about “knows people from outside the government”, I totally agree. As you said they aren’t looking to make big money in this either. Some have volunteered their time to help get the budget under control and pay down the debt. They also want to help create a pro business environment.
Ted can talk a lot, but he has no experience from which to draw from creating jobs, having to deal with government programs that hurt business. He’s a novice. He’s a know nothing on these matters.
Trump is a force to be reckoned with. If he doesn’t get the nomination, it’s time to hang it up > IMO.
Trump has said that should he be elected, he won't take the salary. Icahn has said as much too. I'm sure that the others, whom Trump would use, are wealthy enough that we won't see repeats of the scandals re Obamas' friends did, nor what the FOB were involved in, or even another TEAPOT DOME.
Trump has been waaaaaaaay ahead of the cure re the damned Muslim terrorist stuff.
He is also bringing people of all races, creeds, religions, socio-economic class together and he isn't even the nomineee yet.
It's not that Cruz is "bad", unlike jebbie, it's that this is just NOT the right time for him.
I will be watching to see if he hits Soros tonight and whether he makes a Soros-Clinton connection.
