Donald Trump’s candidacy is the worst thing ever for the Republican party (and this country).

People, he is NOT a conservative.

A campaign fueled by bile will cause America to rot from within. Can you imagine Ronald Reagan expressing Trump’s attitudes? No, of course you can’t.

To be truthful, today’s GOP leadership would have knee-capped Reagan as well.

I do not care about the GOP. Got it?

The best thing for this country isn’t that cabal of miscreants that have been running the show and rotting this country all the way through.

Done with it. I am voting Trump. You go worry elsewhere!

Who would be your choice for GOP nominee?

Did you not hear about Ryan and the budget deal last week that gave Obama everything he wanted? Even Pelosi was shocked that they got so much with so little effort.

News Flash: America is already rotting and it is coming from DC -- and not just from the Democrats.

Agreed 100%. Reagan would never stoop to criticizing people in personal attacks. Reagan had class. Trump has no class whatsoever. He is an embarrassment. I feel sad for the people that have been so disenfranchised by Obama that they have turned to an idiot to express their anguish.

I agree but not for the same reasons I would guess.

So what if he is not a conservative? Neither is the Republican party from what I can see. He is more conservative than many in the race but not as ideological pure as some would hope for. But then who is?

What he is, is a winner, a leader, and a very successful business man who could do no worse that Obama or Little Yeb.

What he is not, is a politician or politically correct, two of the biggest reasons, in my book, why this country is in the crapper already.

His biggest asset in the political arena this election is that he is tough-as-nails and the most qualified to kick that lying, loser b*tch Hillary's ass into the gutter where it belongs.

People, he is NOT a conservative.

No, he is not.

Someone always feels obliged to point that factoid out on just about every Trump thread so I believe we have the idea.

Trump may not always espouse conservative ideals but he offers something even more lacking in government today and that is patriotism.

Trump is a patriot.

He is an unapologetic patriot and proud American.

A Trump administration promises to be the exact opposite of what we had the last 7 years and what Hillary wants to bring us for another 8 years.

He will be a huge improvement over the so-called "conservatives" who have sold us down the river for the last 27 years.

He certainly would not have supported or signed the latest disaterous budget pushed by the "conservative" House Leader.

His unabashed patriotism and common sense solutions to the liberal quagmire we now live in are the core of his popularity.

THIS COUNTRY IS SO SCREWED UP THAT 'WAITING' FOR YOUR TRUE CONSERVATIVE (whatever that is) IS A HOPELESS CRUSADE!

If Reagan had expressed Trump's attitude, he wouldn't have given amnesty to millions of illegals with the subsequent influx of even more.

Hmmm, just imagine that.

Can you imagine Reagan calling an enemy “evil?” Trump has not done that - yet.

When Reagan announced, he came out in favor of NAFTA. But you could tell he was not unambiguous about it.
