I’m well aware that in the day of the founders, the “liberals” were closer to what we are as conservatives today.
That’s why even though I still fall back into calling them liberals probably admittedly the majority of the time, it probably is most accurate to call them progressives today.
The bottom line is I tend to look at Trump as progressive in the sense of government, even big government, “managed right”, or managed by the “right” person, can be a wonderful thing.
