A few years back in the big controversy between ranchers and the federal government about grazing on federal land, Oprah went on a big anti-beef campaign.
High corporate taxes and excessive regulation and environmentalism cause American manufacturers to have to pass those costs to the consumer or their business partners. Chinese manufacturers don't have these high costs, therefore consumers and downstream businesses prefer the lower prices of the Chinese driving American manufacturers out of business. Shrieking idiots such as yourself say "we need tariffs!" instead of addressing the root of the problem which is high taxes and excessive regulation. High tariffs would just add more cost to American products driving even more manufacturers out of business.
