He was better at the economy, the invasion of the US not getting out of control, and compared to today didn't destroy world civilization with regime change schemes. The bad globalist policies of the past 20 years hadn't yet overwhelmed us.
The thing is, Clinton left the presidency in January of 2001. Voters younger than their early 30s don't have much memory of the Clinton WH, except maybe schoolyard lessons about what Monica provided. They remember hillary's disaster as Secretary of State. Besides that, younger women don't seem to expect to play the "I am woman" card to get ahead.
I can't see how rolling that dirty old man our to campaign for his over-the-hill crone wife is going to help. Trump has aged so much better than those two that the contrast helps Trump.

It was the GOP congress, led by Newt Gingrich, not clinton who were better at the economy, etc. Clinton was forced to the sideline, from whence he decided to get out in front and pretend to lead. Clinton’s first two years were a disaster, hence the reason for the historic take-over by congress of the GOP, which was Newt Gingrich’s remarkable accomplishment. Newt Gingrich prevented what is happening now from happening then.
