Chinatown crime boss Raymond 'Shrimp Boy' Chow - the man at the heart of a federal corruption case that brought down former state Sen. Leland Yee and engulfed City Hall with allegations of 'pay to play' politics, took the center stage in U.S. District Court this week to deny the murder and racketeering charges against him.
But anyone expecting his testimony to blow the roof of City Hall or cause Mayor Ed Lee further embarrassment would be sadly disappointed. The trial has largely boiled down to unpacking the nearly decade-old murder of businessman Allen Leung, and whether Chow - who subsequently replaced Leung as head of the Ghee Kung Tong community organization - ordered the hit.
In fact, during the month-long trial there has been virtually no dissecting of Chow's alleged ties to Yee or former school board president-turned-political-consultant Keith Jackson.
Both Yee and Jackson avoided trial - and potentially testifying - by pleading guilty to racketeering charges in July.

Kinda sounds like the guilty perps are free to do whatever they please.
“Shrimp Boy”? Sounds like a character from “I’m Gonna Git You Sucka.”
Shrimp Boy Chow? Sounds like a menu item at a gay Chinese restaurant.
Try it with the Sum Yun Gai.
“Shrimp Boy” is a vicious killer who was working with Nancy Pelosi’s California State Senate Leland Yee to sell weapons to terrorists. Calling him a Chines restaurant menu item is ill advised.
Thanks Libloather.
