I imagine that the Joint Chiefs, and other segments of the military, have been playing ‘what if’ games amongst themselves these past eight years. I mean, I understand duty, but I also understand that there must be, in the minds of some of these patriots a line that, if Obama had crossed it, it would mean that all bets are off.

I’m sure every day there are patriotic, experienced, competent people in our military, be they office and political brass or serving in active duty somewhere who are literally counting down the days until Obama leaves the office.

I’d expect you’re right too. A lot of “what ifs”, worst case scenarios, and contingency plans drawn up.

I sincerely hope and pray that we have many in DoD chiefs and their staffs who are patriots and recognize the Kenyan for what he has done.
