In the conversation with the donor, Cruz was asked if gay marriage was a top-three priority for him and he said it wasn't.
In a recording provided to POLITICO, Cruz answers a flat "No" when asked whether fighting gay marriage is a "top-three priority", an answer that pleased his socially moderate hosts but could surprise some of his evangelical backers. By late summer, she said, the River Valley Teenage Republicans were a grassroots advocacy group working to put Cruz over the top.

I doubt it.
OK.
What say you?
Or it could garner more support.
As Trump has proven time and time again.
The troll that posted this needs to be zotted.
Old news dude!
Well it isn’t a top three priority. Press is trying to stir up trouble for him
Priorities are
Immigration
Healthcare
Freedom
Second Amendment
Reversing leftism in government
among others.
Change the culture and homosexual marriage will take care of itself.
Well .. for starters, Terrorism and the Economy strike me as much more important than gay marriage.
And .. especially since Americans seem to be more concerned that they aren’t going to be shot at, blown up, or have their head cut off or burned to death.
And .. if they don’t get a handle on the economy .. it’s going to be another depression .. and that will make America weaker in the eyes of our enemies and they will figure we are ripe for the picking.
So, I’m sure there’s more .. but none of them are gay marriage.
As a Christian nation, we should not be promoting it anyway.
Troll. Who’s payroll are you on?
Whose....

Hey Bud, when someone new like you posts a controversial article about a political favorite here on FR, we need to hear YOUR opinion so we can decide whether you’re a troll or not.
Posted for the 100th time today. A big nothingburger.
Cruz’s answer didn’t lower homosexual marriage in priority. It was the “questioner” asking a loaded question that attempted to give the illusion of same.
Article cites Politico. Hardly journalism.
I agree. How many times has this site been spammed by this poster with various versions of this non-story.
So Sen. Cruz is a constitutional conservative.
THAT’S A STORY??!!??
We are already in the eighth year of a depression. There has been no recovery at all. Look at the growth rates in the GDP now as compared to the 1930’s. They are incredibly slow now where in the early part of the thirties the growth rates where large, just not large enough to sustain a complete recovery.
