He supports TPA, has never wavered on that. He opposes TPP, which is an entirely different thing yet often gets improperly conflated with TPA. Especially by people with an agenda.
Similar issues with your other points. They're all half-truths or misdirections meant to attack the best conservative left in the race (and quite likely the best one to get into the race at all).
TPA greased the skids for TPP, Obama rightly argued they were connected. TPA got rid of 60 vote rule in the Senate.
Someone who is principled says straight out what they mean. Cruz’s silence on illegals, then his condescending “The American people want to have that discussion later’ about amnesty, then his vague written statement about the illegals here, then lawyer-speak phrases like ‘I don’t intend to give them legal status’ is hardly principled. Unless you are saying he is principled enough to not want to lie about giving them amnesty.
He’ll let them stay, which is amnesty. Hardly conservative or principled, just doing what the puppet-master donors want.
