I confess that your comment at #9 confuses me.
I merely wish to agree with the point that some food does not contain DNA.
Some components of some food may indeed not have DNA, but any ingredient derived from a living animal or plant will have DNA.
There could be some things such as 100% petroleum based artificial edible products without DNA, but is that truly a food?
Purely mineral and without DNA would probably not be good to eat as a food by itself.
The confusion may be in the meaning of food.
