The Star-Ledger's story Monday offering credible evidence that some Muslims in Jersey City celebrated after September 11 will no doubt be used by Donald Trump and his supporters to justify the ugly lies he has been telling.
So let's start there: This was the most thorough examination of his claims yet, and it proves beyond doubt that Trump was way off base when he claimed that he saw "thousands and thousands" of Muslims joining celebrations.
Remember: The reason Trump's comments are so offensive is that he is suggesting sympathy for terrorism is broadly shared among Muslims in America when in fact it is a fringe sentiment. It is the moral equivalent of smearing all white Americans for the actions of violent white supremacists.

Concurring bump....even a focus group of Muslims hand picked by Frank Luntz indicated around 1% of their co-religionists in the United States represent a physical threat to the country...with some thinking that number will rise because of Trump’s rhetoric.

I am always amazed and almost slackjawed at how rabid secular liberals have lately become the greatest protectors of Muslims in the US. But when you realize that everything a liberal does is far more about how any issue advances their narrative, then you can see that liberals and Muslims have found common cause.
Liberals see a liberal future for western society. Muslims see a Muslim future for western society. Liberals expect to be in charge of that future as do Muslims. What liberals don’t realize is that Muslims can be far more vicious, ruthless and violent far more quickly than any liberal can. Liberals have shown us that they expect the future society to be Pajama-boy and EBT-Julia. No comparison with Muslim rage-boy.
Trump and Cruz are popular because those who see this train wreck coming know that there may only be a very few opportunities to prevent it from happening.

14 years...some memories aren’t quite as sharp, but two things happened that were CLEARLY DENIED by the media, and at this point there was some CLEAR LYING by the media going on.
The first that there were reports of CELEBRATIONS in New Jersey on major media outlets - something the news organizations, WITH THEIR OWN ARCHIVES denied. They simply LIED about it when they claimed it never happened.
The second is that THOUSANDS did celebrate in one place, but it was Arabs in the Middle East, the same ones we’re now importing by the MILLIONS. So, if they were over there celebrating the World Trade Center when it went down, thousands of them are NOW OVER HERE - so is there much difference between what happened here and what Trump claimed?

First the libtard criticism against Trump was that muslims celebrating 9/11 never happened.
Now faced with overwhelming evidence that it did happen, the libtard criticism changes to claims that it never happened in the numbers Trump asserted.
Before it’s over they will be claiming that it depends on what the meaning of “celebrate” is.
If Trump commited a sin—it was only in inflating the numbers—maybe it wasn’t thousands but only hundreds! Even if it was dozens it was too many! Even 10 would have been disgraceful and anti-American. But, in truth, Trump is right more times than he is wrong.
If someone said Bill Clinton raped eight women, George Staphylococcus would call him a a liar because it was only four.
