This was an eyeopener. I follow politics fairly closely but I did not know that Rubio’s parents weren’t citizens when he was born. He clearly was not born of parents who held an undivided allegiance to America at the time of his birth. Unless we are redefining natural born citizen by stealth he does not qualify. He is a terrible choice for President for many other reasons but the fact that there has been so little mention of his parent’s citizenship history is another example of the media shaping the message they want us to hear ... aka lying,
If you will notice, Rubio exalts his immigrant experience, not his American heritage. It is like it is absent in his heart, which is probably the case. For Rubio, America is just a platform that was made for people like him to achieve what they wish to achieve, and nothing further.
Unless Rubio had to go through the Naturalization legal system to become a citizen, then the conditions of his birth made him a natural born citizen. If it required no additional paperwork than the birth certificate, same as I, he was a natural born citizen.
Evidently we are. The new definition is that the child have one US passport holding parent (dual citizen is OK) and the child can be born anywhere in the world. The Marxist globalists win again.
