“Lead Paint” is part of the dems game plan to move the people living in low cost housing in the inner cities to the suburbs.
I’ve taught some students who’d had lead poisoning from old paint. They’d lived in crappy slum apartments. I’ve heard that the lead paint tastes sweet and that’s why the young will lick and eat it.
Anyway, all the students with it that I personally taught were dumb as a box of rocks, but very sweet and nice to work with.
People scoff about the poor conditions those children go to school in, but it’s not funny and they do deserve better. The horrible people (all colors) in charge of those schools are the ones who point fingers and blame whitey or anything else, and it’s those horrible people who are the problem.
Those schools get more money per pupil than white schools, yet waste it on crap rather than anything that might be effective. The people in charge of schools need to be uniformly fired and never allowed to be near education again. Nuke it from orbit, it’s the only way to be sure.
Can’t just blame home life either, parents have always been terrible. I place the blame at school administrators, and the government who uses money to pull their strings.
This sob story actually had new information, for me at least. Gray was born 2 month premature, “possibly” due to the babymama’s HEROIN use. Huge public expense right out the gate. Then he is allowed to eat large quantities of lead-based paint, supposedly in his PUBLIC HOUSING (even though lead-based paint has been outlawed since the 1970’s and he was born in 1989. Hmm...). His school was deficient because it didn’t offer Advanced Placement courses (Hmm... he was in Special Ed, so why is AP relevant AP?). Lives off a “settlement” for eating lead-based paint. Therefore can’t think and has no impulse control, etc. Then, against all odds, he becomes a heroin user and dealer. Local juries refuse to convict even when the evidence is there, so the arrest/bail process becomes the default judicial system. Dysfunctional, but who’s at fault?

Yes, life’s deck was stacked against Freddie. Spending probably $1 million on him didn’t change things. But Ms. Ross thinks we just don’t spend enough public money on cases like his. How much would it take to make a difference? $100 million each for squads of tutors, minders, jesters, and wipers to live their entire lives for them? To what purpose? Heroin-wracked, lead-based brains aren’t going to get better.
It was noticed, years back, that African-American children did not do as well academically as all other children. So, it was decided that African-American children tended to chew on window sills. Therefore, the lead paint in the window sills must be the factor keeping African-American children from doing well academically. A whole lead-paint-test industry has arisen in real estate circles.

So in other words, it’s white’s fault. Always is.
It’s white lead’s fault; as white lead was commonly used in paint up until the 1960’s. I wonder how all those old colonial and victorian types got so smart with all that white lead paint everywhere?
If I remember correctly, toothpaste tubes were originally made out of lead.

You should follow what just happened in Flint Michigan. Their whole water supply was found to be heavily tainted with lead. They have a whole generation of kids that will be stupid their whole life because of this. And yes, it will definitely increase the crime rate.

The ONLY no bs way to solve this societal problem is to perform a vasectomy on these boy children at birth or whenever it is medically feasible. My limited medical knowledge reminds me that circumcisions are done at birth. Can a vasectomy similarly be done at that young age? I don’t know.
So, Liberals, always on the wrong side of nearly every issue, will scream racism against the blacks and discrimination against the poor. I don’t think being black or being poor should be the determinative factor. The derminative factor should be A. Does the kid have a reliable Dad involved in his life and B. Is the mom or dad on government assistance.
Race would have nothing to do with the process.
In any event, vasectomys can be reversed so later in life it could be reversed if the young man, at that point in his life, wanted to. I suggest that reversals can only occur when the man can demonstrate financial responsibility and not before the age of say 25 in any event.
Failing some REAL solution like this, the streets will remain a war zone and the prisons full.

With momma filing a lead poisoning lawsuit, who knows where the lead paint came from. Her heroin couldn’t have helped, either. Throw in the obvious effects of global climate change and he didn’t stand a chance.

I care not for what is contained in the phraseology “the Negro culture” because it is not mine.
That includes the pimps, hoors, drug addicts, queers, those that think that they are owed something by the color of their skin, those that think they are owed something that has not been in place for 150 years, those that advocate open war against all other cultures because of THEIR color of skin, and those that pursue the oppresion of their own because an individual that might become something is performing better than the rest of their own color of skin.

Eating chips of plaster coated with lead paint has been one major example documented in the literature. Whether it has anything to do with this case is arguable, but pica is not a joke, and it is a genuine problem.
