That was quite an interview by Gerta. She was hell bent on doing a number on Cruz but never quite succeeded. For some reason she failed to see the poison pill that Cruz had stuck into immigration legislation and only saw what she wanted to see.
I have never liked gerta and probably never will.
Cruz has areas of discussion that merit discussion such as trade but gertas interview was definitely not one of them.

The Trump people are spreading the lie that Cruz is avoiding the Sunday shows.
He ain’t scared of nobody, he kicks butt in all venues and he’s running for president, he would be the stupidest man on earth to avoid any publicity.

No question! Problem is we will never hear about it because it does not fit the DBM narrative.

MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders; John Podesta, Clinton’s campaign chairman; House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis.

It is only appropriate that Paul Ryan appear on a show otherwise populated with radical Democratists.

>>>Ted ain’t afraid of anybody<<<

Agreed! Ted went tot-to-toe with Greta and Brett Baier this week in overtly hostile interrogations. He would run rings around F. Chuck, Clintonopoulos, Tapper and the rest of the Sunday Talk clowns!

What did he say?? Did he talk about the 3 Stooges debate yesterday?? (Oops, I insulted Moe, Larry and Curly, they are smarter then The Criminal, The Socialist and the Flatline).

Where is Hillary today? Probably will have to take days off to recover from the debate. The woman has no stamina. Can’t be president.

Oh no, no, no!!!

I didn’t say Ted was afraid... And don’t want to imply that at all.

It’s just that he reserves the decision to go on a show OR NOT as his. He doesn’t play their game at all.

Consider this a strength.

In any case, neither of us know why. I’ve carefully tracked his appearances on the Sunday shows, and can tell you he’s way at the bottom of appearances—all the lower tier candidates have many more appearances then he. So...

Why is that?

Either they are banning him or he is choosing not appear.

To say they are banning him means he is powerless to do or even say something about that. I do not agree he would take that lying down without a comment. Therefore the only logical conclusion is that it is Senator Cruz’s choice not to appear.

Feel free to disagree...

......................
If anyone needed more evidence of why the American people are suffering at the hands of their own government, look no further than the budget deal announced by Speaker Ryan. In order to avoid a government shutdown, a cowardly threat from an incompetent President, the elected Republicans in Congress threw in the towel and showed absolutely no budget discipline.

The American people will have to absorb higher deficits, greater debt, less economic liberty and more corporate welfare. Congress cannot seem to help itself in bending to every whim of special interests. How can they face their constituents when they continue to burden our children and grandchildren with debts they will never be able to repay? Our government is failing us, so we must do something about it. Who knows how bad things will be when the next administration comes in and has to pick up the pieces?
The only special interest not being served by our government is the American people. It is time we imposed budget discipline by holding the line on spending, getting rid of waste, fraud and abuse, and by taking on our debt. To do these things, we need a President who can lead the fight to hold Congress and the rest of government accountable. Together, we can Make America Great Again.” at Donald J. Trump

My lightning round,

Best line at Republican debate SANTORUM: The enemy is a theocracy and their allure is their theocracy. -Give the objective to defeat the enemy to the Military and let them determine the strategy.

Obama on tv for the 4th time to explain his strategy. -why use this guy’s strategy? Our Troops deserve the best war strategies.

Feckless -After dithering in Afghanistan and after hurricane Sandy, but now that it’s Republican primary Mr Christie sinks to angry face loud name-calling because he just figured this out.

CNN Republican debate -Another successful set-up for infighting and pro-Democrat campaign commercials, suckers fell for it again, well except for Trumps observation...

ABC Democrat Debate -remind me of Piano Man ‘they’re sharing a drink they call loneliness, but it’s better than drinking alone’. O’Malley might surge.

I was wondering also why Cruz is not on at least one Sunday show?

I cannot imagine a network boycotting Cruz when they despise him so much. They would attack him like a rabid hound never letting him speak more than four words in a row.

THIS WEEK (ABC): Sanders is supposed to be interviewed by Stephanopoulos

Let’s see if they laugh frequently like Stephanopoulos did with Clinton on Dec 6 THIS WEEK (ABC).

How does anyone in a debate be late for a commercial break? She has medical issues along with no stamina. Has that ever happened before outside of her and the media would blast anyone else for that.

Merry Christmas

The dirty little secret is these shows do nothing for your poll numbers. It is such a small audience and the audience is mostly liberals so there is no point going on.

He is not that telegenic either so the best he can do is hurt himself. He is better off organizing for the actual votes.
