I’m getting a kick out of the calls. Mostly Cruz and some Carson. Got a call for a townhall meeting for Huckabee. Then those that don’t identify a campaign.
RIGHT...but Dems WILL vote for Trump !
“Well...thatâs the truth and Trump is the ONLY one who can best Hillary in a debate situation!”
Trump could thump Hillary, it’s true. That doesn’t mean Cruz couldn’t too.
ð
I don't think we watched the same debate. Trump stood there with his nose tilted toward the ceiling, mugging, making faces and smacking his mouth. Cruz was solid and strong.
I don't think it did Trump any favors to stand next to Cruz. According to what I heard, folks on social media were making the comparison--or rather, contrast---and deciding for Ted.
Sorry, but that's the truth. Cruz is far too college debater/lawyerly to take her down in a "debate".
“The hard truth is that in every poll Trump is doing well. It is what it is. Heâs going to be terribly hard to catch at this late date.”
Well, it’s really not “late”; it’s very early in the process. But Trump has done very well so far and I for one am very glad he is in there doing what he is doing.
“Cruz is surging! Cruz is soaring!”
With all the soaring and catching fire for the past two months, one would think that Cruz was in orbit.
Santorum is at least a Republican— Pataki is just a disgrace-—
Many people discount the value of national polls. Correction....many people, whose candidate is not in the lead nationally, discount the value of national polls. Those people nationally all live in one of the 50 states. It may not be a one-to-one ratio, but it sure indicates a trend, or they wouldn’t do the poll. And ask any of the other candidates which position they’d rather be at this point in the process...where DJT is, or there position?
LOL BINGO! :)
That is a very long list, which hasn't been posted on FR in a few years.
I am unapologetically all in for Trump. :-)
That’s not true either......man understand what polling is about....and therefore do not put the “value” polling wants to have in determining the race.
I agree that it “might” at times indicate a trend...but even then considering how few they poll to the actual voting population is almost laughable.
Like the media...’pollsters’ want the ratings and engagement they get.....and it feeds the media as well as the public who likes to bet on who is to win place or draw.
PPP had head to head among Republicans. Trump beats everyone except Cruz. Cruz beats everyone except Trump. Trump is 1 point ahead of Cruz, head to head - essentially a tie.
1 out of 555 is 0.18, much closer to 0.2 pct.

rump hater Jonah Goldberg finally had to admit in a column that Rush read today that in fact the Dems need to be very worried about Trump
___________________________________________________________
Jonah’s hate of Trump is personal. He was on the receiving end of one of Trump’s twitter sessions last year.
He is weak on illegal immigration, even after seeing how the people reward a strong conservative approach.
__________________________________________________________
Whether he is weak on immigration or not, he is too weak overall for what we need right now.
He was suckered by McConnell, of all people, even when his staff tried to warn him he was being lied too.
We can’t take a chance on someone that green right now.
