The U.S. Marshals Service have joined the search for a teenager who was serving probation for killing four people in a 2013 drunken-driving wreck after invoking a defense that he suffered from "affluenza."

I was thinking that justice finally caught up with Joran van der Sloot; though for a different crime, in a different place.

In your favorite search engine look up unlawful flight to avoid confinement. If it applies, it's federal.
I will bet he is out of the country at some tourist mecca.
The "Affluenza" defense was basically a pseudo-clinicalized way of saying "the kid is too rich for prison."
I hope that at when all of this is over, the little scumbag is either dead or enduring years of well-deserved beatings (and worse) in prison.
