Please listen to Jeff Sessions defense of Ted Cruz on the Howie Carr Show today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8Nnt_obTRM&feature=youtu.be
Even some here have swallowed it, bait and hook.
At least the Trumpophiles pretty much refrained from thowing turds at Cruz over this.
I suppose it’s because they hate Rubio more than fear Cruz.
There were a handful of Sh!+ slingers. Usual suspects.
Not on TPA, in fact Cruz said Sen. Sessions was wrong on TPA.
AMEN ! and AMEN !
Yep.
And Lee has his back on the metadata.
Let the trumpee smears on Sessions begin.
This is about the immigration controversy. TPA is a separate issue that we have discussed ad nausium elseware.
Does this mean Jeff Sessions gets trown under the bus by the Trump supporters ?
Just saying
Or mapbe becuase the facts are Cruz voted against it, Rubio voted for it. The rest is just noise to cover up for Rubio
TAKE THAT CRUZ BASHERS
What boggles my mind is the double standard Trumpophiles exhibit in their attitude toward Trump vs Cruz.
Trump supports Kelo, Single payer healthcare, Ethanol subsidies, Planned Parenthood, confiscatory taxes on the rich and opposes Medicare/Social Security reform.
Yet Cruz makes 1 vote in support of TPA (which he explained) but even if you donât believe him, heâs totally against today and heâs a conservative Judas.
These people are so snake-fascinated with Trump they refuse to see him for what he really is....a skilled carnival barker who lacks both conservative ideals and a strong moral compass.
I like Cruz and Trump
Not necessarily.
But the Rubio supporters are going to get desperate.
I have the utmost respect for Senator Sessions.
can I AMEN that AMEN
Just How Close Was The 2014 Amnesty Vote? - Here’s The Back Story...
The senate Gang of Eight comprehensive immigration reform bill, which included amnesty legislation was not blocked by Ted Cruz nor Marco Rubio - it specifically passed the senate because of them, not despite them.
On Tuesday June 10th Speaker Boehner, Eric Cantor (Majority Leader) and Kevin McCarthy (Majority Whip) had lunch together discussing timing the vote Thursday night or Friday Morning.
However, later that same night the results from the 2014 Virginia primary showed an unknown conservative outsider, Dave Brat, had defeated (primaried) Eric Cantor. At 7:00pm Tuesday night the first word went out that Cantor had lost.
Boehner, McCarthy and Cantor were STUNNED beyond belief.
The next day, Wednesday June 11th, the House of Representatives was also in a state of shock - Almost the entire reason for the defeat was the controversial immigration position of Cantor.
Immediately panicked GOP congresscritters were calling Kevin McCarthy and revoking their previous (2 days earlier) positions of support for the bill. By lunchtime Wednesday June 11th it was obvious the Immigration Bill was NOW DEAD in the House.
That’s how close it was. Literally within hours of a vote for passage.
Amnesty didnt die because of Senator Ted Cruz or anything he did or didn’t do. The gang of eight bill had already passed the senate.
Amnesty died exclusively because candidate Dave Brat beat House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Period.
Even though I still a Trump supporter and can't stand Rubio.
Or Brett Baier , Britt bush Hume, Charles Krauthammer, Steven Hayes and Jonah Goldberg.
I want to know what these so called conservatives say about Paul Ryan's budget deal on why that is the reason none of them are really conservatives compared to Trump.
Rush told Trump on air to study the budget deal and come out firing, as Jeff Session said " You want to know why Donald Trump is killing everyone just look at the Budget deal".
