37% of likely Republican Primary voters say that they intend to vote for Donald Trump, a 20 point difference over his nearest competitor. While Trump has traditionally been strong in South Carolina, this is one of his strongest showings yet, coming after his headline-grabbing remarks about keeping Muslims out of the country.

We are new to SC, but my family and I will be voting for Trump. From what I have heard and seen here, Trump is way ahead of anyone else.

To be fair, most South Carolinians just assume, like the rest of us, that Graham is auditioning for a permanent job on NBC, not running for the nomination.

37% of likely Republican Primary voters say that they intend to vote for Donald Trump, a 20 point difference over his nearest competitor. For SC, an OPEN PRIMARY state, we need to see a poll of ALL likely voters, including 'Rats and independents.
Look for the GOPe to pull a 'Mississippi' to get the crossovers to vote for Little Jebbie ...

Jeb at 4, Trump at 37. That will be a historic number of crossovers. Too big a task.

That’ll never happen. Too far behind. Trump crosses over and has a fair amount of dem and black voters support.

Trump + Cruz greater than 50%. Seems to be a consistent theme with these state polls. :)

Third poll of the South TODAY in which Trump has a 20 point lead and is in the 30s, inching toward 40. He outpolls Cruz and Rubio put together.
Wailing and gnashing of teeth in the GOPe.

I think you’ll find The Donald’s numbers actually increase when Dems are added. A lot of indies and crossovers will support him.
