Trigger warning! This story and video may be unsuitable viewing for the "safe space" crowd.

Looking to understand just how controversial the debate over free speech on our college campuses really is, filmmaker and satirist Ami Horowitz recently traveled to Yale University, one of our nation's most prestigious institutions of higher learning, to speak directly to students.

"I decided to take this campus free speech debate to its logical conclusion," said Horowitz,...

I can’t say I disagree with you there, but that does make for an interesting thought.

If you are the only party that remains loyal to a contract when the others have thrown it in the trash, are you foolish to continue to bind yourself with it?

Thank you for referencing that article jazusamo. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

To the best of my knowledge at this time, students are correct about limits on ”free” speech imo, not that they understand why they are correct.

More specifically, although United States v. Cruikshank addressed gun rights, the Court clarified in that case that the Constitution protects citizens by either limiting or prohibiting the actions of state and federal governments only; the Constitution does not prohibit the actions of private citizens / entities like Yale.

Insights welcome.

Patriots need to get themselves out of the ”Hollywood” Constitution that they were indoctrinated with in post-FDR era public schools, and get themselves up to speed on the real Constitution and its history.

Remember, you heard this from Obama guard dog Fx News. /sarc

We need an amendment barring graduates of Ivy League schools from holding public office. (sorry, Ted, that’s not directed at you)

Trump is also a graduate of an Ivy League school.

It’s long past time to burn down Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Princeton. Firt the Administration and most of the professors outside of the hard sciences and math.

You know a liberal is lying when he/she pretends to be defending the Constitution. They detest the actual Constitution, but love its “spirit,” which somehow makes the actual text of the Constitution irrelevant and even wrong.

The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Trump's alma mater, is an Ivy League School, but it is a business school, which is not the haven for Marxists that liberal arts are.

Dittos!

Brilliant idea!

Hey Coach, send me in! What a hoot! I thought I had fun going back to a small Southern state university at the age of 50. At the age of 68 and in today’s Hyper-PC (”Look Ma, I got no brains!”) atmosphere it would be a delight.
