We do know this: She posted that she 'has no candidate'. Given that this isn't a reasonable position at this time, it becomes apparant that she has a candidate we might strongly object to.
I speculate that, like any of the Establishment, she would be equally happy with Jeb or Hillary.
You don’t know who is going to be on the ticket Nov. 2016.
I’ve said my vote goes to a conservative and I expect that will be Ted Cruz.
Judging by what we've seen of Trump in his personal business affairs, to the extent he is capable, I believe we'd see a lot more accountability.
Granted, the system is horribly rigged, so that capability would be less than it is in BigBiz.... but he'd sure take his case to the American People, and then to the Congress.
Which tells me they're okay with Big Government ideology.
It doesn’t matter whether Trump is driven by conservative ideals, populism, or just himself and his own ego.
At this point in the game, Trump is, as far as I can tell, the only candidate offering the kind of plan that gives conservatism a chance to survive in this nation. The proposed plans of all the other candidates, at this point, will lead to conservatism’s decline and fall. Cruz’s proposed plan may be better than some of the others, but it is still not enough.
You can argue that Donald is insincere, or that his plan won’t work, but the way I see it, there is no other choice in the matter. If Trump is lying, we are no more screwed in the long run than we were with every single other candidate, and if any other candidate gets elected, we’re screwed no matter what. Because with every other candidate, the liberals will utterly subvert the electoral process until there’s nothing left but slavery or war.
I mean, unless Cruz is lying/finessing the truth in order to appear more liberal on immigration than he actually is. But I find this hard to believe.
To me, it’s not a choice between a populist and a conservative. It’s a choice between certain death and the chance to survive.
I know you don’t agree with me, but can you understand where I’m coming from?
bttt
Okay, can we put you down for Cruz, now -- since he is the only Conservative in the race?
(Yes, I said that. I view Trump as a Populist, not a Conservative.)
And, when or if you commit to Cruz, will you kindly ALSO post pro-Cruz articles, instead of your single-minded 25-article-a-day Trump Bash-Fest?
Well said.
Well you missed it.
Chick.
Either get coffee, or more sleep.
You totally missed the sarcastic and opposite meaning of Thatcher's comment.
Sleeeeeeep.
Whats wrong with populism ? What Trump has said about guns, his stance on muslims and immigration make him a conservative
I do and the Trump supporters come on to disrupt.
Any other instructions, inquiries, suggestions, suppositions?
You stated what I sum up in the phrase, "dice roll".
It's all we got.
I slightly disagree about Cruz. I think he'd get a lot of good done.
Sleep?
I’m just starting my day.
Make me a believer.
Sleeeeeeeeeeep.
I think Trump is worth taking a chance on. If he gets the nomination, I’ll roll the dice and vote for him. He’s still bound to be better than the Democrat nominee. If he’ll hold firm on illegal immigration and Islam, those two issues alone would make him a fairly worthwhile President.
My wife, however, thinks he’s a scam artist with an inflated ego and that he would push through a lot of things the Democrats want then brag about how much he has accomplished.
Excellent post! What you said is exactly how I feel.
We can disagree. While Trump holds some conservative positions, most of them that I see, align more with Populism. Nothing wrong with Populism, by the way. Both the (R)’s and the (D)’s have embraced Elitism, and that’s why we are in our current mess.
