Sharyl Attkisson, formerly an investigative reporter with CBS, recently launched Full Measure News. Those who have followed Attkisson on Twitter know that she has been relentless in her pursuit of stories that have been abandoned by the mainstream news, such as the Fast and Furious scandal and Benghazi.
Full Measure News was to be an independent outlet for investigative reporting, but tonight Attkisson is reporting that the entire Full Measure News account has been pulled by YouTube.

Someone should be loading up Trump & Cruz with this information. I am sure they will get it to the public at some point. Wouldn’t be suprized if Trump didn’t bring on Atkinson as a consultant.

Would be great if FR could sustain an upfront link to her site, other conservative sites could be encouraged to do the same, and we could all bookmark it directly ourselves to prod us to check out her work more often.
I will never buy anything from any YouTube advertiser after this.

No, it may be done by government, but all that is required is an authority that can control the output, be it Google, Time/Warner, Cox, Salem, ABCCBSNBCCNN. etc.
From what I read here at FR, Germany has pressured Facebook, Google, and Twitter to pull anything defined “hate speech” under German law, which is quite protective of Islam. Apparently even quoting from the Koran, unless in a positive or laudatory manner, can be “hate speech” in Germany. So yes, these are private entities and can do what they like, just like Amazon pulled all Confederate flag merchandise, but they’re working hand-in-hand with leftist governments, and in this case not even just our own, but Germany’s. This is why the Uniparty supports globalism, big business supports globalism-it is not only very enriching, to them, but if puts all the reins of power in their hands, as they work together., and one hand washes the other, to the benefit of both.

You are exactly correct. If enough people complain on YouTube, they will suspend you or shut you down. Usually it is for nudity, profanity, or copy written material being used illegally. Sometimes, it is a bunch if ninnies who have nothing better to do than create a bunch of user accounts and flood them with negative flags as is probably this case.
Illegality of censorship? It is not illegal per. se.
