That doesn’t really make sense. Rush’s criticism was that Trump attacked Cruz like the Dems or the Establishment would from the left. Nothing in an audio tape, certainly not something as mild as what Cruz said, is going to change that fact.
Rush did say what the article says as I heard it in the 3rd hour of the show.
Cruz first accused Trump of bad judgment and temperament.
Trump then merely mirrored the accusation back, accusing Cruz of a poor temperament and judgment for the presidency.
I heard Rush’s comments on Megyn Kelly (in between her raging period, according to Trump).
Nothing in an audio tape, certainly not something as mild as what Cruz said, is going to change that fact.
