Today on his radio program, Rush Limbaugh declared that Donald Trump’s attacks on Ted Cruz on Fox News Sunday sound like an attempt by Trump to cozy up to the GOP establishment.
Trump said of Cruz that “you can’t walk into the Senate, and scream and call people liars, and not be able to cajole and get along with people.” Rush pointed out that screaming and calling people “stupid” or “incompetent” is exactly what Trump has been doing throughout his campaign.

“He needs [the establishment] on his side for the nomination,” said Rush, who is confused as to why an anti-establishment candidate like Trump would join the establishment to attack Cruz. Cruz’s claim to fame is refusing to play along with the Washington elites in the Senate, the same Washington elites Trump says are too incompetent to run the country.
Will Trump’s attacks work? Is Cruz going to reciprocate? Tuesday night’s debate will be interesting.

Trump praise for Clarence was not enough for Rush.

no, he didn’t recant. He said that what he said should not be taken as counting Trump out, and then added that nothing he has said should be counted as an endorsement of Trump....he did not back down one iota on the Trump did go establishment on Cruz

He lost me, for quite a while, when he kept up a steady stream about toe fungus, when he was zonked out on the Oxy.
He very late in the show, said that Trump always fights back, in the same vein as what was FIRST said about him...using those words against the person who slammed him. Cruz said that Trump hasn't the temprament nor judgement to be president, which is why Trump then said that about Cruz, only harder.
He certainly did the other day when he came out in favor of government surveillance, the NSA and the PATRIOT ACT.
I stopped listening to Rush for a while, because he has been promoting Trump.

No. All we hear is this teenage girl gossip about Trump and what he says about other canidates. I could just cry.
Rush was quite thorough in his treatment of Trump’s use of Democrat talking points.
One begins to wonder if Trump is playing footsie with GOPe.
