Trump most certainly has taken some liberal positions on issues. He says he has evolved. That remains to be seen beyond his statements. So, I don't necessarily hold those past positions against him. Cruz changed to a more conservative position on TPA and for good reason. A conservative weighs the evidence and data and comes to a logical conclusion. Libtards fly off the hook at sound bites and crucify people based on group-think.
As for the claim that libtards aren't also supporting him, I know that claim to be factually incorrect. Two of the biggest libtards I know - who never vote, and I mean N.E.V.E.R. - registered to vote so they could vote for Trump. We're talking Big-Dawg-loving, tax-the-rich-scheming, pro-choice, anti-God, kool-aid-drinking, Obama-bootlicking individuals. They AND their respective families are voting for Trump. And guess what? They've never been polled.
So those poll figures just fade away for you, because you can think of some wild assed Leftist who support him? Why not go all the way and mention some KKK guy who supports him? It would have just as much sway.
Some KKK nut or another backs just about all Republican presidential candidates. What has that got to do with the Republican base that has a clear majority going for Trump?
Those self-declared people are our base. Stop trying to muddy the water to ignore that fact.
