Rush Limbaugh said today on his radio show that Donald Trumpâs attack on Ted Cruz over the weekend, calling him a âmaniacâ given the way heâs dealt with McConnell and others in the Senate, is not an attack a genuine conservative would make and it has raised a red flag for him: While I would certainly vote for Trump if he were the nominee, Iâve never thought he was a genuine conservative. But I do think heâs tried in some ways to bridge his positions with conservatism and I think he generally leans in that direction.
At the end of the day though, if he becomes president, I expect a lot of compromise with Congress, especially on his more conservative positions â and I know that going into the voting booth. If you expect something different you might be in for a big surprise.
This is also why I support Ted Cruz. I do expect him to compromise with Congress as well, as he has said as much, but I donât believe he will go so far as to compromise his principles.

So will Cruz.
Not gonna bother with you.
You lost your chance when I followed a link of yours to a dead end, your post a total lie.
If you say so, so won’t Cruz.
Oh bull s—t.
You Cruz folks have gone mental.
Cruz stands in his way. The question is whether Trump will do what is best for the country or whether his ego gets in his way. As far as I am concerned Trumps main contribution is his focus on an incompetent press. But the real question is who wins in Novermber and if there is any hope for this country?
The links, as you well know, go to perfectly valid articles which expose your candidate’s flip-flops and liberal positions, and his advocacy of “a path”.
Your posts are total lies.
You poor baby. Do you need a snot rag?

âDonald Trump: âA long time, but, you know, you have some great, productive people that came. You have to give them a path. You have 20 million, 30 million, nobody knows what it is. It used to be 11 million. Now, today, I hear itâs 11, but I donât think itâs 11. I actually heard you probably have 30 million. You have to give them a path, and you have to make it possible for them to succeed. You have to do that.â
You still haven’t heard he’s deporting them all.
So he says (as does Senator Cruz, BTW), but in the next breath, Trump is saying “you have to give them a path” and that “the good ones” get to come here permanently.
And Ted says a way can be found for them to stay, without leaving.
You are seriously challenged by the truth.
And Donald says a way must be found for them to stay. Furthermore, he has taken positions for a long time that are completely opposite of what he says now. (Not just on immigration.)
Cruz has been a fighter against the Gang of Eight, “comprehensive immigration reform”, and amnesty of any kind throughout his Senate career. His record isn’t perfect, but it’s a proven record of standing up for the things we believe in, on this and many other issues.
I know you don’t want to admit that. You are seriously challenged by the truth.
Cruz made amendments that would have given away the farm, and you call him courageous.
As I said, when you need more help, I’ll be around.
So he says.
