REPUBLICAN frontrunner Donald Trump is spending a fraction of his Democrat rival Hillary Clinton as he continues to dominate political debate in the United States.
While Mrs Clinton wrote off £19million in the past quarter to bolster her bid for the White House, the billionaire property tycoon is estimated to have invested just £3million.
Since Trump's controversial demand for Muslims to be temporarily banned from entering the US following an Islamic State inspired mass shooting in San Bernardino, donations have been pouring in to his campaign coffers.
Experts estimate more than 100,000 supporters have given donations averaging £40 to his campaign, even though he is largely self financing his presidential ambitions.

Trump haters like Gutfeld are supporting him more now, too.

Time for an update:
In a time of universal PC - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
It is way past time for a time of Factual Correctness. Political Correctness is taking us down the rabbit hole.
Trump doesn’t need, or want, a money bomb.
He simply wants people to show up and vote for him when the time comes, nothing more.
While I haven’t done it yet, I plan to give $10 to support Trump. That’s hardly even a token amount, but it’s my way of showing that I am invested in his campaign.
“Trump doesnât need, or want, a money bomb.
He simply wants people to show up and vote for him when the time comes, nothing more.”
Not true. And why on earth would you object if he is your candidate?
The Trump campaign has told me they appreciate the money bombs. We did one on FB, was very successful and generated the first articles on his supporters giving $$.
[snip]For months, Donald J. Trump has highlighted his credentials as a politician who was financing his own campaign for president.
No longer.
Mr. Trump revealed in a filing Thursday to the Federal Election Commission that the vast majority of the money he raised and spent this summer as he rose to the top of national polls came not from his own coffers, as it had in the spring, but from about $3.7 million in what he called âunsolicited contributions.â Some 74,000 donors pitched in an average of about $50 to help his campaign, he reported.
I also love how he's done this without spending a lot of money while Hillary, Bush, and many of the rest have blown through many millions.
People tend to be more careful with money they've earned than with money they've been given. This isn't "free money" for Trump. Which is something the government could learn a thing or two about.
We don’t need to ban Muslims. We need to STOP all ‘immigration’ - from everywhere.
Our elites can buy tickets and still visit ‘the world’...
Anyhow, think of the horror of Disney employees NOT being forced to train their foreign ‘cheap labor’ replacements.
Or of companies stuck paying decent salaries because the flow of illegals is shut down...
Endless horror for the elites - - and their haters in the press who feed off our misery.
I have not settled on a candidate yet...I am more interested in working against candidates that I know I don’t want...Clinton, Bush, Christie, Rubio. But I can tell you one thing, I won’t be taking any cash out of my tiny pile and putting in Donald Trump’s big pile.
I don’t object to doing a money bomb.
I was simply pointing out the he doesn’t need, or want significant donations.
He’s said so many times, I listen to all of his speeches.
Nor am I upset that you want to do it, you are quite obviously an American Patriot, and for that I salute you.
“I was simply pointing out the he doesnât need, or want significant donations.

You didn’t hear them all, because he was thrilled about the personal small donations and expressed such. I just told you his campaign has told me how grateful he is for the personal contributions. It gives him the right to brag that his supporters actually support him.
[snip] While Trump originally denounced the idea of contributions, he appeared to warm to the idea over the summer. His campaign now makes it easy to give, with a prominent “Donate” Button” on his website. The site also offers an online store full of campaign gear, such as $30 hats with Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan and $50 sweatshirts.
Trump has taken in 73,942 contributions, a total that surpasses several of GOP rivals,
Financial reports filed last week show that more than 70 percent of the $3.9 million he raised from July through September came from people giving $200 or less. That rate of small-donor contributions is second only to Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders,”

OK, I concede.
[Trump doesnât need, or want, a money bomb.

TRUMP is unique in that he doesn’t need $$$ to finance his campaign.
However, it is the American way for the electorate to donate to organizations who represent their values and goals and will promote like-minded candidates.
Conservative PACs such as NRA, Right to Life, etc. should not be demonized. They represent our values and are a vital part of the election process.
No other organization can lay as much claim to helping pass ObamaCare than National Right to Life. No one.
Without their ceaseless and heroic efforts it would have never made it through Congress.
[No other organization can lay as much claim to helping pass ObamaCare than National Right to Life. No one]
Didn’t know that.
That being said, there are PACs that support conservative causes.
The very, very short story on that is that they blackmailed the Republicans to support the Stupak Amendment, which prohibited federal funds for abortion, including in ObamaCare.
If they didn’t vote for the amendment, NRTL promised to spend every available dollar they had to defeat them in the next election.
Is NRTL stupid, or simply evil?
[Is NRTL stupid, or simply evil?]
I’d have to see who is on their board of directors before I make a decision on that.
