It’s another one of those polls with a skewed sample set....”likely caucus goers”. Trump has to up the ground game and get out all of the unlikely Republican caucus goers.

The Des Moines Register poll was criticized by some for including too many folks who were not traditional “likely” voters but who self-identified as probable caucus participants. trump himself had rather nasty things to say about the Des Moines Register poll. So now you are criticizing this poll for excluding the less likely voters.

I recall in one of his last rallies Trump let slip out that thirty days before the Iowa caucuses Trump would be camped out in Iowa. I suspect he will do a media blitz that people have never seen before. It will be 24 hours a day all Trump all time.

I also remember his campaign manager saying that in the pro Trump group there were an overwhelming number of people who had never voted in the caucuses before.

This is where Trump the executive will show us what he is made of. Evangelicals are only 30% of the voters. They are not gods. That also presupposes that they will vote 100% for Cruz. In one Iowa rally, I saw people interviewed who said there were no jobs to be had.

It is cute for the evangelical leaders to say vote for Cruz while they have cushy jobs but the rank and file might be hurting more and wanting prosperity instead of just prayer.

I suspect people will choose economics over prayer.

This is going to be awesome to behold. The executive verses the politician. Plus I also think that Trump and Cruz have some kind of deal going. Don’t know what it is but those two are up to something. Trump said there would definitely be a place for Cruz in a Trump administration. Cruz said that Trump would build the wall in a Cruz administration.

Trump thinks like a military commander. He always assesses his opposition for troop strength and materiel. He is keeping his powder dry watching what his opposition’s burn rate is and troop deployment.

He has done that with all his opponents. Once he quantifies his opponent and forces him to spend his fire power first, Trump will deploy at the rate of ten times whatever they have.

Scoring a decisive crushing victory. Once again like every other time they are underestimating him.
