It’s too bad a Metro Area doesn’t have a say on the Mayor of the central core. You’d have a lot fewer Democrats. 2.4 million people just in Houston City, and 6.5 million in their Metro, but 100k loons get to decide on a loser moonbat Mayor ?

Nashville wouldn’t have elected a Hillary clone fat **** Communist, anti-Christian bigot Mayor with the whole area voting.

Chicago, on the other hand... probably no difference (at least until they get rid of that non-partisan bullcrap).

I thought with the outbreaks of Domestic Terrorism, and Obama’s endorsement of Turner, that King would win this race. It was close, and would have been different if the election were held a week from today.

Well unless the city of Houston has direct power over the suburbs that wouldn’t really be fair. All major cities exert strong influence over neighboring communities.

Chicago, eh, if Cook County as a whole got to vote MAYBE a RINO would win once in a Blue moon. Tony Perica came fairly close to beating the execrable Stroger Jr. for County Board Prez, 6 or 7 points, in a bad year, 2006. Perica actually did well enough in the city to win, carrying 12 wards, he did not get what he needed from suburban Cook, much of which is just as bad as the city.
