Houston Resistance reporting:

The flaming liberal promised not to mess with with police and FF union’s pensions ($3B underfunded), would raise property taxes (how many of his supporters have even moderately priced homes...) and typical other liberal objectives.

Meanwhile, our streets our literally falling apart with so many potholes. Worst part of the night was not him winning, but seeing Sheila Jackson on TV. Not kidding, gave me a gag reflex and almost had me crying that this is what our city has turned to for a leader.

Maybe so. It should’ve been an easy win for King. He ran a pitiful campaign.

Queen Sheila doesn’t miss a meal, nor an opportunity to have her face on the teevee....every chance she gets.

He did his best. The police and FF unions early voting is what did him in IMHO. Never stood a chance with so many “auto” votes for Turner.

Guy is going to F up this city so badly...

I wonder what he will say to all those black preachers who are against the gay rights crap.

I’m surprised the republican white guy got that many votes in Houston. Turner won the part of Houston that’s in another county and it’s basically ghetto.

...I have heard that the once economically vibrant Houston under Democrats is crumbling very much like Detroit.

And the oil price nose dive will make it worse.

Another big city lost...

Good bye, Houston. I’m leaving. I am moving to the east side where it’s closer to work on the Ship Channel. Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte, even Mont Belveau. Houston has gone downhill. SJL to me is representative of the character of the whole of Houston. The worst of New York City. Yes, she is a carpetbagging bitch and I have had run ins with her. Stick a fork in Houston.

A close vote, but it is liberal Houston. I never had much doubt about the outcome.

For such a close election, you would think the voter turnout would be better. Sylvester has been wanting that job for a long time, and probably got help from Porker’s followers to keep the mayors office in democrat control.

If Sam had been buried there, he would be rolling in his grave - fortunately he is buried in in a friendlier area with a Republican mayor...

We can make a difference...

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate as the next President.
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader

PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!

Donate to FR

Donate to Cruz

Donate to FR
