Cruz is demonstrating a skill a president must have: avoiding a confrontation for a larger goal. During political campaigns, there is an obsession with presidential action. The party out of power demands that the president do something in response to everything. But it’s often the case that letting a situation develop is the wiser course. That’s the course Cruz is on.

Well said. Believing that Trump will stick with a conservative agenda 100% is foolhardy. Romney — heck, McCain too — would have had a higher batting average. Doesn’t mean he’s worse than Clinton of course.

When you are Trump running 20 pts ahead of Cruz you don’t have to do anything to him.
Trump has no platform.
He tries to put Cruz’ positions into bombast and parrot them, but he ends up proving he didn’t understand them.
He jumped in by trying to profit from the death of a girl by the hand of one of the kind of illegals that have made his own business profitable, and few even saw the irony.
Trump is opposed to concealed carry, and has voiced that position many times, but recently tried to walk that back. Only fools would believe it.
Your feeble attempts to falsely paint my positions are not going to fly here; too many know where I stand.

Really? - How so?
He is a Big Government guy, and his recent pronouncements prove that in spades. Conservatives want small government, and we need a candidate that can get elected, not a blowhard that has 60+% adamant opposition, and a history of manipulation of elected officials.
Ted Cruz is the candidate, and he will win unless Perot II goes turd party cuz his feelings got hurt, and drags the sycophants with him, leaving the dems with a narrow advantage in the electoral college.
