I only read the first part of this but Trump has said many times that he doesn’t attack people until they attack him and, in fact, he just mentioned the other night that’s why he hadn’t yet attacked Cruz and added that he liked Cruz.
Cruz has said at least several times that he is not going to attack his opponents and that he believes in Reagan’s 11th commandment.
Yes, women with brains, who aren't feminazis LOVE him.
Cruz is the one who purloins Trump's position papers and words.
What an anal analysis the writer thinks himself perfectly tuned into not only the psyche of the candidates but all the voters as well.
it’s a planed symbiosis
Why won’t Trump needle Cruz for acting like a beta the way he needled Jeb? He’s hinted at it before. He pointed out this morning that Cruz seems willing to criticize him in private but not in public, and he likes to note when asked about Cruz how Cruz seems to agree with literally everything he says.
Ouch....calling Ted a beta AND an M2T in one knock out sentence.
I doubt a VP under Trump would be a “typical” VP....
"I like and respect both Donald and Ben. I do not believe either one is going to be our nominee. I don't believe either one is going to be our president. I think both of them, their campaigns have a natural arc. And with both of them I think gravity is pulling them down... Carson is further in that descent. You look at Paris, you look at San Bernardino, it's given a seriousness to this race, that people are looking for: Who is prepared to be a commander in chief? Who understands the threats we face? Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button? Now that's a question of strength, but it's also a question of judgment. And I think that is a question that is a challenging question for both of them. So my approach, much to the frustration of the media has been to bear hug both of them, and smother them with love. People run as who they are. I believe gravity will bring both of those campaigns down, I think the lion's share of their supporters come to us."
I love Trump’s tweets ! :-)
When Cruz ran for the Senate, the Texas Republican machine went after him with every attack they could think of, some personal and nasty. Cruz never responded to those attacks. He stayed on message.
Cruz has his own deeply held principles and personal attacks are just not something he engages in.
I'd rather see Cruz in the White House, but if not I'd love to see him in the Supreme Court. That would make liberal heads spin for several decades!
LOL...he's so far ahead of the game, people won't know what hit them until 2 weeks after he's done it...that's the East Coast Business way of doing things...and he's a pro at it....
Yes it is and since you can’t see it as such, I have to wonder why that is.
Horse puckey. Every position Trump took in his announcement speech had already been taken by Cruz. Every single one. All Trump left out was defending religious liberty and abolishing the IRS.
Cruz was advocating for a border wall when Trump was criticizing Romney for being too mean for talking about self deportation in 2012.
Cruz and Paul were calling for a 3 Year moratorium on immigrants from countries with ISIS and Al Queda presence, a list of 33 countries before Trump called for his Muslim ban. They both framed the issue on banning the terrorist threat rather than as a religious issue.
Trump just gets all the attention because of his celebrity bomb thrower style.
I never said he didn’t. Right now he doesn’t need to.
Saying that voters will have to weigh a candidate’s judgment is an attack?
Trump has said terrible things about a lot of people during this race, even stooping to mock and ridicule a disabled man and you focus on an issues remark as an attack.
Trump wrote books on his stances long before Cruz was a Senator.
Trump gets all of the air time because he has the gumption to get out there and say things that connect with everyone and which NOBODY else has said during this time period.
Just face it......Trump may be brash, but that's exactly what this nation needs, BADLY, as president, at this time.
You don't like this, but you really need to understand the whole dynamic.
YIKES...thanks for the link.
Cruz has this figured out.
And so when Trump says "Attack me!" Cruz starts singing "Why can't we be friends...?"
Bravo Cruz!
