On the day of the shooting, following along the “live” thread here on FR, FReepers who were listening to the SBPD scanner channels reported calls of “two people on a bridge, changing clothes and tossing ‘something’ over the railing.” Could this ‘something’ be what is being looked for?
And, for the record, I still think it’s quite the coinky dink they the getaway vehicle had Utah plates, and that a Utah bank was involved in the 28k deposit.

Still waiting to hear if the spent casings at the scene indicate more than two rifles used.
I don’t know of any lakes in the area. I checked the map and it looks like a man made lake in a park with only foot bridges to an island.

Was Marquez the third shooter (from the live thread, initially it was solidly reported as three shooters). Maybe they are keeping the public story at two as they seek out the rest of the cell?
And lastly, I can’t help but wonder that the Inland Center was not target number one.
So many things seem “off” about the story. Time will tell.
