I didn’t think I ditched Cruz until September. It was gradual.I thought Trump was an obnoxious bigmouth, but when I could actually listen to what he was saying, he grew on me.
Good grief, sounds like breaking up with some guy...anyway, it’s over now between Ted and me. Tonight, when his campaign headquarters called, 832-915-2340, I didn’t even answer the phone.
I know of some other Texans on FR who have switched from Cruz to Trump. I’m not the only one.
Yeah, Trump grows on you. And it helps that he is a natural leader. But Cruz is a better debater.
I was thinking Cruz or Paul and then Trump jumped in big with Enforce the law. Build the wall. Been Trump ever since. Cruz is running lots ads here in Texas which tells you he might not even carry his home state of Texas. I have yet to heard one Trump ad but just about everyone I know is voting Trump in March.
