I wouldn’t have expected any other strategy. Ted is in it to win it. He said he likes Trump and Carson and believe he does but of course he wants their campaigns to collapse. That’s not malicious its just name of the game.
Cruz is like the worthless lazy grandson waiting for his grandpa (trump) to die because he’s not capable of or won’t try making it on his own.
I think Cruz is correct in his view of the campaigns. Cruz seems to be building slow and steady. Certainly nothing controversial in his comments. Not sure why the New York Times thinks this is interesting.

I think this was released to make Cruz look bad.
It is known that the predictions of Trump’s demise have been legendary. Now they have a clip of Cruz predicting it. It’s silly really, but I don’t like to hear Cruz use that line too.

It was at such a "PRIVATE" meeting that Trump got caught re the Carly face thing. So even IF everyone has forgotten about Romney, they SHOULD have remembered the TRUMP words "outing"!

Na. It ain’t a big deal in my opinion. He is in front of his supporters. All the rest talk this way as well. It is interesting though how the media desperately wants to gin up a fight between Trump and Cruz. Cruz really isn’t nearly as aggressive towards Trump as the MSM wishes.
If we here know why Cruz doesn’t attack Trump or Carson, then Trump and Carson know it too. The only way they respond is if the story grows legs.

DO, you make the cogent, thoughtful points, without the hysterical name calling and harrumphing from our pals on this thread for TRUMP.
I would only add also, that Cruz was doing a little M2t-ing, when he tried to name off a pitifully short list of his critics in the media and Hillary. It only took his audience to the vision of the difference between those and TRUMP’s TRIAL BY FIRE. So, no sale there.
How lame, if that is any standard, again, Trump walks away with the tough stuff award for still standing for his own crucifixion, which is happening now.

Apologies, just listened to the tape. It was marvelous! The showdown will come soon. Loved the comment about the supreme court button, since Trump floated appointing his liberal sister to the SC. That was probably my first real trump cringe.
Cruz is smart but generally oily and unlikeable. There is a reason why he’s been unable to pass anything but gas while he’s been in the Senate.
I think you should look more into Cruz. He’s a lot smarter and well read than you think.
