A lot of what is going on is pure evil, because many people in the government hate this country and want it to be damaged.
Now, to perhaps balance that, some people may be under the delusion that the government has a lot of competent people who are making an attempt to do the right thing. That is really not true. People who do not work closely with the government really have no idea what dregs those bureaucrats are. My estimate is that between 5 and 10% of the high-level bureaucrats have basic competency. The rest of them aren’t even trying. They just show up for 20 years and then get a pension.
Hillary Clinton is a very good example. In her case, you get both pathologies. She is undoubtedly evil. And, in addition, she is incapable of performing even simple tasks. She bullies people for the sake of bullying people. That is her one and only skill. And she rose to the top of the heap, because most of the bureaucrats have even less skill.
Terror cell? YAWN. Let someone else care about that. I’m busy telling my buddy about my golf outing.
He eventually went back to work for the feds, but was shell-shocked and perpetually defensive when questioned about it - which I quite often did. ;-)
As my old man would say, it’s the 5-15-80 rule. 5% are the best at what they do, highly competent. 15% are passably competent. The 5% and 15% carry the 80% that just bounce along at the bottom while the others carry them.
And I'm not just saying U.S. citizens within the government...that are Socialist's / Marxist's...
