Donald Trump 2016 -- GOPe Threatens to use "Thad Cochran" Mississippi Attack if Trump wins
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 2015-12-10 | Sundance

.

Remember Mississippi ?

The professional apparatus of the Republican Party are signaling their intent to do exactly what we predicted they would do.

Trump will win the primary, and the GOPe will split the party to run an additional candidate in the general election.

It’s not Trump going third party – It’s the establishment GOP (GOPe) intending to go third party. They are planning a modified version of the Mississippi Strategy from 2014.

The root of the strategery is to deny Trump a clear majority of the Electoral College

The establishment Republicans don't want to break up the game.

They like the system as it is - Hell, they helped build it.

They just want to be the first pigs in line to get their snouts in the treasury and our pockets.

They would rather help the democrats win than bring in a reformer. and that is how they see Trump.

Trump may not be a conservative but he promises to upset the Good-Old-Boy system and that makes him the enemy of the DNC and the GOP.

Every single day, somebody in the Trump camp puts out a story, with no facts whatsoever, that casts The Donald as the underdog victim of the system just to whip the Trumpoids into a man-the-battle-stations froth and every single day it works. It's kinda funny to watch how conditioned some people are.

I'll wait until the GOPe punks do something shady before I get outraged about it. Not wanting Trump to be the nominee is not chicanery or conspiracy, it's politics.

Donald Trump 2016 -- GOPe Threatens to use "Thad Cochran" Mississippi Attack if Trump wins

I told anyone who would listen that if Thad Cochran and Mitch McConnell won their elections, this tactic would get used again and again.

If it works to get them elected, they are going to keep using it. If it works to destroy their political opponents, they are going to use it.

there are as many facts in this story as the last one I (accidently) read that “proved” bigfoot exists.

Let ‘em. They’ll see conservative protests that’ll give every fat-azz RINO in the country the biggest, most horrendous, and very permanent case of PTSD they’ve ever seen. They have NO clue at the anger that Trump has exposed. They’ll see Trump and Cruz supporters unite to take our country BACK.

They’ll see us in the streets of DC. They’ll see us in the capitol cities of all 57 states. They’ll see us on the steps of every county seat courthouse across this fruited plain. They’ll see us in the streets of their hometowns and at the doorsteps of their houses with their little kiddies saying, “Mommy, why are all those people mad at Daddy?”

Those RINO losers will see us in their worst nightmares every time they close their eyes to take a power nap.

Then I guess they’re just going to have to lose their power and suck up to Hillary. If it’s not trump or Cruz I give up on the process and will not give a crap any more.

The supposed GOPe plan in this story won't work.

The guy writing the story just wants some emotional Trump supporter hits.

The Republican party left me for good in 2008, when it nominated John McCain. I voted for McCain reluctantly, because he had Sarah Palin on his ticket, and I had been a loyal straight-ticket party voter since 1976. But the instant he was nominated, I realized how much the party had left me.

Four years later, the Republican party nominated an even worse candidate (which I didn't think was possible), Mitt Romney, a 100 percent nanny-government functional Democrat registered as a Republican. For the first time in 36 years of voting straight Republican ticket, I voted third party at the top of the ticket in order to weaken whichever leftist Democrat won, Romney or Obama. Republicans were being asked to vote for a functional Democrat and voting for Democrats is nuts.

DONALD TRUMP JOINED THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN 2009, right about the time it was really going downhill fast. Trump endorsed McCain while he was a Democrat, he endorsed Romney after having switched to Republican -- very clearly Trump found the Republican party attractive right at the time I found it had left me totally.

Trump is a piss poor choice and if he wins, he will betray and embarrass every single person who voted for him -- yes, because not a single solitary person voting for him knows that they're actually voting for -- they only know what they HOPE they're voting for, and that is presumably that Trump will not be the same as he has been for the past 26 years -- a party-switching left-leaning big government MODERATE.

If you believe that "moderate" is the right direction for the GOP, support Trump.

If you believe that limited government Constitutional conservatism is the right direction for America, understand that the only guy worth voting for in this contest is Ted Cruz.

Great pic Patton!

If the GOPe employ this strategy, many GOP Senators and GOP
House members will also get thrown out too.
It will be a blood bath, the likes of which we have never seen.
