I like some of the things that Trump says, but I can’t get past how he said his favorite president was Bill Clinton. Am I taking that out of context?? Or did he really mean it?

Who knows what Trump means? He has praised Hillary Clinton, Obama and the Democrats as well. He has flipped on every issue a million times. There is absolutely nothing conservative about Trump. He is a populist and says things that boost his ratings. And he is, to use a Trumpism, “Just Terrific” at it.

He is absolutely brilliant when it comes to campaigning, no doubt. Possibly the best politician in our lifetimes and he isn’t even a politician.

Don’t get me wrong, he has highlighted issues that would have never seen the light of day if he were not running, and I applaud him for it, but no one has any idea of where he really stands on anything.

That can be said about any of the candidates of either party. They are politicians who will do anything to get elected. Obama got the two highest vote totals in American history--by far. Hope and Change won out. Now we find out what it really means.

That is just flat out not true. Trump has been putting out books since the early 80s and all say the same thing. You yahoos that pull-up quotes from a red carpet interview in the 90s and ignore all serious interviews and writings Trump has done are the classic example of progressive like low information voters.

Actually that is not true. If you read his books you can see a continual thread running through them of love of country, self reliance, disgust with the inefficiency of the government, believing in a strong military that we won’t need to use because of it’s strength, law and order and support for those in law enforcement.

I’m sure I am missing some things but all of these things run consistently throughout all of his books.

He wrote a book back in 2000, ‘The America We Deserve’, he talked about the threat of illegals there, bad trade deals as well as the threat of terrorist attacks and mentioned bin laden too.
